Broadstairs has been my holiday destination since 1974 and I'm always happy when people discover the town with its the beautiful beaches and friendly, welcoming people.

Why they chose this property

Year-round swimming and beach life are my joy and I've been lucky to have both my sons grow up here. The town is perfectly located for a quiet, fun break by the sea with plenty of live music, restaurants and friendly pubs. And for something different, the nightlife of Margate and the maritime charm of Ramsgate are just a short drive away.

What makes this property unique

Our house is pretty and comfortable, perfectly situated a few minutes' walk from the beach with a view of the sea from the master bedroom. A cool oasis after a long summer day on the sand and cosy in the spring months. Comfortable beds with crisp white cotton and a fine collection of books. The bathroom, with an extra large enamel bath is perfect for guests who like to swim throughout the year and the mature garden is perfect for a drink in the evening.
