About this property
The Lawley - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 5
Surrounded by the traditional Cornish village of Delabole, this homely seaside getaway offers families and couples the perfect base to explore the breath-taking landscapes of North Cornwall with nearby Tintagel and the mythical legends of King Arthur. Within walking distance are the stunning beaches of Trebarwith and Tregardock and a short drive is the quaint village of Port Isaac renowned for Doc Martin and the Fisherman Friends. At the end of the lane is Delabole Slate Quarry, which has been in operation for around a 1000 years and is recorded in the Doomsday Book of 1086. The quarry is surrounded by a myriad of scenic walks that can be explored from the front door. The village hosts a quaint village pub, a very useful supermarket and a traditional fish and chip shop that offers a true taste of the North Cornwall coast.
At the end of a busy day’s adventure, hang your coats and leave your walking boots in the cloakroom before heading into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this home-from-home. Flooded with plenty of natural sunlight, the calming natural colour palette sets a truly peaceful ambience, whilst elegant contemporary touches will capture your imagination, inspiring you to cook, dine and unwind with loved ones long into the evening. Sharing the same charm and sophistication as the ground floor, each of the three bedrooms upstairs, one king-size, one en-suite double and one single, offer a haven of tranquillity to retire to. The family bathroom upstairs provides everything you need to feel refreshed from sunrise to sunset. A pristine modern house with no nooks and crannies. A fresh clean feel in a perfectly situated location to explore this wonderful coastline with adventures to suit all ages.
Outside, soak up the fresh, salty sea air by dining alfresco in the enclosed patio garden before staying up way past bedtime to star gaze in the clear, dark skies. Outside, you’ll also find private parking for three cars.
