Host & Stay | Paradise Farm

Summary:
Paradise Farm is a detached, grade II listed brick farmhouse with plenty of historical charm within its walls. Sleeping up to eight guests, this beautiful, dog friendly home is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a relaxing retreat. The farmhouse, which has been modernised throughout, has plenty of space for your whole group including a living room, kitchen, dining room, four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Occupying a south facing position and surrounded by gardens, an orchard, and a paddock, Paradise Farm really is the ideal place for a tranquil countryside getaway which offers privacy and a connection with nature.

The Space:
The farmhouse kitchen is perfect for socialising and preparing home cooked meals during your stay. This beautiful space has tile flooring, a stainless-steel sink unit and granite worktops. When it comes to cooking, there is a Rangemaster 110 cooker with a five ring electric hob, a toaster, and a microwave. There is also an integral fitted dishwasher.

A utility room adjoins the kitchen and houses the washing machine and has a separate door to the rear terrace.

From the kitchen there is an open archway leading directly to the dining room. The dining room has exposed beams and an open fireplace with marble surround to create a gorgeous space to enjoy meals with your loved ones.

The sitting room is homely with a log burning stove within a marble surround and comfy sofas. The perfect spot for a cosy night in, you can retreat here after a day of exploring North Yorkshire. There is also a cosy nook with additional seating where you can curl up with a good book.

The stairs up to the first floor lead to a central landing off which is the master king bedroom with built-in wardrobes and an ensuite shower room with underfloor heating and tiled walls.

There are three further bedrooms on the first floor too - another king room and two twin bedrooms. The family bathroom is also located on this floor and features a bath, WC, basin and walk-in shower.

A second staircase leads to a large full length attic room with beamed ceiling offering potential for a variety of uses and ideal for families. By default, the space is set up with Yoga mats.

There is an enclosed lawned garden to the south of the house beyond which is an orchard area with attractive trees and a grass paddock alongside which is an established orchard strip.
