About this property
Harnser Cottage - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4
A welcoming and stylish holiday haven in the heart of Sheringham, this two-bedroom property is perfect for a couple or small family. Within 500 metres, you can stroll to the beach, a choice of pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, a variety of independent boutiques and the family-friendly beach. Wander along the promenade, weave your way through the National Trust’s Sheringham Park, 2.5 miles away, which is famous for its rhododendrons and azaleas, or jump on the steam train and head over to Holt (7.5 miles) for the day. Here, you’ll find beautiful 18th-century buildings and an array of shops, from antiques and art to books and clothing. Golfers can play a round at Sheringham Golf Club (1 mile) and nature lovers will relish the chance to see the seals at Blakeney Point, home to England’s largest grey seal colony, booking a place on a boat tour from Morston Quay, 10.5 miles away.
This red-brick house is set over two storeys and boasts an off-road parking space at the front, suitable for a small or medium-sized car. Pull up and unload easily, before heading inside to find a charming interior designed for comfort. Relax in the lovely lounge, where there’s a choice of seating and a Smart TV. Head through to the dining room, with its neutral tones and a table for four, and then into the double-galley kitchen, where you’ll find everything necessary for holiday cooking, including a handy microwave. A small step up takes you to an area with the fridge/freezer, and then through to a beautiful shower room. When you’re ready for bed, cottage-style stairs take you to the first floor and the two bedrooms, with wooden beds and neutral decor for a soothing rest. The king-size room has an en-suite bathroom with a contemporary, free-standing bath in which to indulge in a relaxing soak.
When you feel like some fresh air, whether for a morning coffee or a sundowner, the private garden at the rear of the property, with a patio area and seating for four, is the perfect spot to unwind.
