LOCATION:

There’s no shortage of attractions to keep all ages entertained along Sandown’s vibrant seafront. The Pier and the stunning Sandown Bay are just a short downhill stroll from the property. Voted one of the island’s best beaches, it’s the perfect spot to stretch your legs along the golden sands or take a refreshing swim in the cool waters of the English Channel. The nine-mile stretch between Yaverland and Shanklin, with Sandown at its heart, showcases fascinating geology, from the red sandstone to the white chalk of Culver Cliff. On a lucky day, you might even discover fossil remains!

For those seeking adventure, the bay is a hub for water sports, including paddleboarding, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, and sailing catamarans or dinghies—weather permitting.

A short walk towards Yaverland brings you to the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary, renowned for its big cats and its connection with naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packham. Formerly known as the Isle of Wight Zoo, it’s a must-visit attraction. For younger visitors, Sandham Gardens is just minutes from the esplanade and offers karting, sky nets, crazy golf, and a dedicated play area—perfect for burning off energy and ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep!

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £200 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken, unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.

There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.

No pets are allowed at this property

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival

A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.
