This super cosy, detached, traditional-style cottage is perfect for two guests to relax and unwind at all times of the year.. All on the ground floor.

Living area: With electric wood burner and Smart TV.

Kitchen area: With gas cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Bedroom: With super kingsize bed and Freeview TV.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Grounds with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Stable Cottages oozes character and charm, with a traditional cosy feel throughout.
Set on the owner’s smallholding in twenty-two acres where you are free to walk, this is an idyllic retreat for couples. The cosy ambience in the open aspect living area with exposed features is reflected through the cottage from the moment you open the front door. Set on one level the cottage has a pretty bedroom with a super king bed with a comfy mattress and bedding, just right for a perfect night’s sleep. Outside you will find a small seating area, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring around Northumberland or for enjoying your morning cup of tea. The traditional style well well-equipped kitchen is a lovely space full of curios, should you wish to dine in, there is even a Ninja Speedi to try out! Situated just off the A1 close to Newton on the Moor and nearby Felton in an ideal location ensuring travelling around is very easy in all directions. Less than a mile from a highly acclaimed pub/restaurant in Newton on the Moor if you want to treat yourselves to a lovely meal.
Head over to the stunning Northumberland Heritage Coast AONB with miles of golden beaches, peppered with historic castles or head west over to Hadrian’s Wall area where you can spend some time walking some of the ancient walls, perhaps stop at one of the Roman Forts. Stable Cottage is only a few minutes from Alnwick, home to the Duke of Northumberland who resides in part of the majestic castle, where some scenes in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey were filmed. Discover the cobbled streets with a great choice of pubs, cafes and shops. Northumberland is reputedly the friendliest county in England and all over this super friendly county you can be assured of a real warm “Geordie” welcome wherever you venture..
