About this property
Large house, garden, Free parking
About the acomodation:
The house is located near a bakery and a supermarket. Parking is available on the street, and guests can also park for free at Sint Hubertusplein.
The house is located just 1 kilometer (a 15-minute walk) from Koning Albertstraat, one of the most popular shopping areas in the city center. Hasselt train station is a 15-minute walk away, and there is a bus stop just 50 meters from the house. This bus (line 7) connects the house to the train station and the city center.
Feel free to read the reviews: almost everything is provided (such as bed linen, towels, dish soap, kitchen towels, a dish sponge, garbage bags, shampoo and conditioner, a hairdryer, spices, a first aid kit, etc.), so you don’t need to pack much.
On the ground floor, there is the first bathroom with a bathtub (and toilet) and a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, dryer, iron, and a massage chair. The living room features an open kitchen, where guests can find comic books and board games. The living area is very bright thanks to a large sliding door and a partially glass ceiling. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, plenty of cookware, a microwave, an oven, and a dishwasher. The spacious sliding door provides access to the cozy garden, which includes an L-shaped seating area, a parasol, and a fire table.
Guests have access to the exotic Africa Room (with two single beds) and the Sunny Butterfly Room (with a double bed and an infrared chair). Additionally, they can use the luxurious Music Room on the attic floor, which features a double bed, its own private bathroom, a sink, and a shower (the second bathroom).
Access to the house is provided via a secure key box. A few days before arrival, guests will receive the access code along with practical information about the accommodation.
About the host:
The house is privately owned and has been decorated with a colorful twist.
With sustainability in mind, this 1930s house was furnished using a mix of both reclaimed and high-quality new materials and objects. The roof and the top floor were completely renovated in 2021. In 2024, the garden was redesigned to be climate-resistant, and our green facade bloomed for the first time in spring and summer 2024.
What to do?
The city center offers plenty of restaurants and various museums. Don’t forget to visit the market, which takes place every Tuesday and Friday at Kolonel Dusartplein.
Hasselt is Limburg’s shopping paradise, but this house also serves as a great base for exploring the green surroundings. It is located near cycling junctions 239 and 240, providing direct access to the Limburg cycling network.
For those traveling by car, the house is just a few minutes from Hasselt’s ring road and the E313 highway, allowing easy access to several attractions, including:
the bowling alley
Plopsa Indoor theme park
Trixxo Arena
Kinepolis Hasselt cinema
Sparkx sports entertainment park
Zolder Circuit
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
The Japanese Garden
A golf course
The Platwijers nature reserve
Herkenrode Abbey
The forested area of Bokrijk, which features an open-air museum and a large playground for children,...
