Located in the tranquil backwaters of Great Yarmouth, this gorgeous converted barn is perfect for couples and families, with space for up to six guests. It’s just 2.5 miles from the resort town’s famous sandy beach and lively coastal amusement park, providing a serene base for a holiday. Head out on scenic walks in the gorgeous Norfolk Broads straight from your doorstep, perhaps strolling along pretty Angles Way (1.5 miles) or Breydon Water (5 miles). Alternatively, take to the waterways on a boat or kayak. History buffs will enjoy taking the 2-mile walk to Burgh Castle Roman Fort, while seaside explorers can visit nearby Gorleston-on-Sea (3 miles) and Lowestoft (9.5 miles), known for its artsy beach huts, restored pier and cultural venues. The Suffolk Heritage Coast, with its charming villages and iconic traditional resorts like Southwold (22 miles), is also within easy reach.
On arrival, take a moment to admire the charming brick exterior before stepping through the rear patio into the bright and spacious open-plan ground floor. This space is airy and welcoming, with its high ceilings and elegant wooden beams which permeate through the entire property. Sit down for leisurely meals at the dining table for six, prepared in the fully equipped kitchen which even has a coffee machine for your morning brew. On the other side of the striking central staircase, which divides the space, you’ll have a Smart TV and two comfy sofas for unwinding in the evening. One of the sofas doubles as a bed, offering flexibility for additional guests. There’s also a downstairs wet room with a walk-in shower for convenience. Upstairs, two bedrooms flank the landing, one with a king-size zip-and-link bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower and a king-size sleigh bed also boasting an en-suite bathroom.
Outside, the enclosed garden features a lawn, decking with outdoor furniture, and a blissful hot tub for the ultimate relaxation after those long walks.
