This dog friendly cottage sleeping three guests sits on the edge of Middleton in Teesdale, an official 'Walkers are Welcome' town lying in the heart of the dale just five miles from the famous High Force waterfall, two miles from the historic town Barnard Castle, and well within walking distance from several eateries and independent shops in this small town nestled in the North Pennines.

Guests are invited in via the main entrance into a light and airy open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The wood burning stove being the focal point, is a welcome feature for cosy nights in with your loved one after a romantic walk taking in the spectacular High Force on a frosty winters day.

Stairs from the hallway lead to the master bedroom, further second bedroom and shower room. California Cottage is ideal for a small family, romantic getaway or two friends seeking a walking holiday from their doorstep.

Step foot outside and wander along the footpath into the town for a local pint, fish and chips, or a browse around the shops.
