Very nice and cozy place. Hosts were very polite and helpful. Only issue was that the A/C in the house took a long time to cool the place down, especially in the 2nd bedroom.
Nice house in a great location for visiting Yosemite. Very clean and well stocked. Great communication with owner and the housekeeper, Dee, was super helpful.
We were very excited as soon as we arrived and entered the property. The amenities were exactly as described. The cabin was decorated nicely and very spacious all throughout. There was plenty of places to lounge after a long day hiking at Yosemite. The front patio was the perfect place to drink your coffee before going out to explore Bass Lake and Yosemite. Our entire group agreed how peaceful the area was yet it was close enough to town whenever we went out for dinner and entertainment. We really enjoyed out stay and plan to return.
We had a great time on our family vacation and the rental was a big part of it. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. It was very close to Bass Lake. We especially enjoyed the friendly dog of the next door neighbor who occasionally came by the front porch to say hello.
The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions. Upon arrival she promptly called and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely stay her again.
While the home was clean and well-stocked, some aspects were frustrating. The primary frustration was that we had no cell phone or WiFi connection when we arrived. We had to drive into town to talk to the property manager (owner?) to get help. She did try to get it straightened out and eventually did, but we lost our connection multiple times and had to repeatedly reboot the router.
While clean, the decor is dated (retro?). While that was apparent in the photos, despite a previous review mentioning that the house is dark, there were several lights not working and/or not putting out much light. The silverware looks old, and was not appealing. Some overall brightening up and freshening up would improve the atmosphere.
Perhaps the WiFi and cell phone issues are impacted by the location at the bottom of a hill?
A plus, is the house is spacious. Some flowers on the porch or in the yard would help improve curb appeal.
It was the perfect house for our quick stop at Yosemite. The distance to the park was easy and perfect. The house was clean and comfortable. The only thing is we had planned to put our boys in the bunk beds pictures, however they are outside so we put our older girls in there instead. Overall, we loved our stay.
We stayed here with another couple and it was perfect. The house is exactly as advertised. It’s so warm and cozy. The beds are comfy too. The host is super great and very responsive! Water pressure in the showers are great. The only issue we had was the internet kept going out. She said no one else had brought this up so maybe it was just a momentary thing that can be fixed. Again she was great about it. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and we saw lots of deer right out front.
This was our second time staying at this home and property. We once again enjoyed this beautiful, peaceful, and spacious home. The home is centrally located close to Bass Lake and Oakhurst. We loved the quiet neighborhood, and the charming details of the home. Annette was very accommodating on all the home details. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay.
Girlfriends weekend running at Yosemite and touring the park! Great location and such a cute cozy place! It was perfect for us. Annette was so easy to work with and quickly responded with any questions we may have had.
everything was as it was explained our only bad experience it was lots of rain all three days
the only thing that needs to be down to have more lights it was very dark in the leaving room this is a personal choice maybe others like it but I and my group thought that is very dark
but again everything was nice and clean and beautiful decoration
especially the gramophone thank you so much
We had a wonderful family gathering over Thanksgiving! The location was perfect as it was close to town as well as Yosemite. We loved both porches and the kitchen was a perfect size to cook a holiday meal!
We came in on Friday evening and stayed until Sunday morning. Our only misstep was not planning a longer visit because this house was very cozy! Management was very friendly and kind. The kitchen is truly stocked and towels and blankets are abundant. Overall we had a wonderful time.
There are two bedrooms in the main part of the house, one bed in the enclosed porch which we did not use, and a couple places to sleep in the bunk house which is out back below the main house. As it was a little chilly during our November visit, we all slept in the main house.
This house exceeded our expectations with fun surprises. Our family stayed in August, it was 6 of us total and it was able to accommodate all of us comfortabley. The house is a short drive to the park entrance and close to town so it made it easy to get groceries and supplies. We cooked at the house for many of our meals which helped save on the budget. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for having this beautiful home for all of us to share and make lifelong memories. ❤️
We had an amazing time. The home was located in beautiful mountains very close to Bass Lake. Communication with Annette the home owner was very smooth. The interior design was so charming and the cleanliness made you feel at home. I would definitely go back again!
Thank you for the experience, we had a very relaxing and well deserved weekend!
Had an awesome experience staying at this wonderful place. The house itself had a charming vibe. About 1 hr 15 min drive to Yosemite village. Annette was very easy to reach and provided detailed check in instructions. Locating the place was no problem at all. We were definitely happy with the place and would be back for sure if we are to visit Yosemite again. Thank you so much Annette!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The home is very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The home is located close to Bass Lake and Yosemite. Our family especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, and beautiful scenery that surrounds the home. We look forward to returning again to this property.
Home is convenient to Yosemite and the grocery stores in Oakhurst. Well equipped kitchen. Downside - we visited during a heat wave and while the listing indicates A/C the check in email informed that they only have window units in dining, living and sleeper couch room. The two bedrooms did not and it was really super warm in there upon our return each evening. The rooms really only cooled down in early morning hours even with copious fan use. This heat is probably unusual for the area but I thought I’d mention. My teenagers staunchly refused the bunk house due to low ceilings but the girls shared the queen room and our son took the sleeper sofa so we were good on sleeping space. Otherwise great home.
We really enjoyed staying at Annette's cabin. It was very clean, orderly, and enjoyable to come back to after a long, hot day of hiking. The area is very convenient to Oakhurst for grocery shopping or eating out and also very quiet. This is our third time to Yosemite and if we return, we will stay here for certain.
Thank you, Annette very much.
Overall our stay was pleasant. Property was clean and had all necessary for leaving amenities.

My family, which consisted of two adults and three kids, spent five nights at the house. We used it as a hub to visit Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, and the Sierra park. The house was spacious and had all of the amenities needed for a great trip. I would stay there again if I am in the area.
We had a nice stay here for 5 nights with our family of 4. We were able to get to Yosemite early each morning and drove to Monterey and Big Sur 3hrs away, it was a good base for us to explore those areas.
The house was clean and comfortable, good water pressure which is always nice, plenty of dishes, towels, etc. you may need. Grocery and gas close by in town.
The highlight of our stay was a neighbor dog who is "The Official Greeter" we loved his visits! Such a sweet guy, we miss our dogs so we looked forward to giving him a treat and petting him.
My family enjoyed every bit of our vacation. This home is super cozy and has everything you need. The kids loved sleeping in the bunk house and the rest of the home was so very comfortable. It's very close to Bass lake. 40 minutes from Yosemite so we were able to take advantage of these activities every day of our stay. Just wonderful!
