About this property
Molesworth: Your Cornish Hideaway. Central location with free private parking
Molesworth Cottage is a traditional Cornish luxury holiday cottage nestled in the village of Egloshayle beside the River Camel, 1 mile southeast of Wadebridge. With a rustic-luxe interior, this cottage has been lovingly refreshed for 2025 into a modern-day retreat for families, couples and four-legged friends. Laid-back luxury reigns in this holiday home; affording an indulgent self-catered escape for those seeking rejuvenation in North Cornwall.
The space
Far from the rush and noise of inner city living, this luxury home nestled in a quiet village is the perfect bubble. A short drive alongside the idyllic tidal River Camel takes you to the centre of Wadebridge and 10 miles to Padstow and the rugged North coast of Cornwall. A relaxing and flat 1 mile walk takes you beside and over the River Camel via Anneka’s walk bridge to the quaint market town of Wadebridge with an array of independent shops and thriving food scene.
Inside - Muted shades perform as a canvas for light-filled window seats and a comfortable, cosy open plan sitting room and dining area. Within the traditional cottage there are plump sofas, a log burner, spacious dining, a roll-top bath, and luxurious walk in shower that ensure comfort. A well-loved and welcoming place to rest and restore.
Parking - There is private parking for two cars.
Outside - After a relaxing day at the beach catching the surf, what better way to end the day than with ample stress-free parking for two cars. With a small, terraced garden and south facing decked area for drying the wetsuits and catching the evening sun, or stargazing. If you are looking for a quiet drink or an evening meal, beyond the boundaries you'll discover The Earl of St Vincent 17th Century Inn a stone’s throw away.
Sleeps - Up to 5 guests
Bedrooms - There are three bedrooms, all on the second floor. Two are double (one as a twin option) and the third, a single.
Bathrooms - There is one family bathroom, with roll-top bath, WC and walk-in shower on the ground floor and a second separate WC.
Pets - One well-behaved dog is welcome. Pets are charged at £50 per week or part thereof.
Family - Babies and children are very welcome.
Practicalities - The kitchen has a range cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Includes - Welcome pack with local produce, TV, Bose speaker, WiFI internet, linen, towels, logs and kindling to get you started.
Guest access
The whole house is available for use plus the garden and parking spaces.
Other things to note
