Welcome to Casa Ortega in Cala Blanca! We are a Canadian-Spanish family who fell in love with Javea 12 years ago and made our dream home a reality. This newly renovated two-floor bungalow features 3 bedrooms (2 singles in Room 1, king bed in Room 2, & bunk bed in Room 3) & 2.5 bathrooms.

Enjoy an indoor area with wood-beamed ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. The enclosed terrace offers a chill-out zone, dining table, gas barbecue, and access to a community pool with summer slides.

I am Canadian and my husband is Spanish. We live in Valencia with our son (and another on the way :) ). Casa Ortega is our summer home that we renovated in 2024. Each detail has been designed by us, and we are hope you enjoy the home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Cala Blanca is a peaceful neighborhood in Javea, offering more space and tranquility than the busier Playa Arenal area (from Casa Ortega, it is a 2 minute drive / 20 minute walk). It’s perfect for those seeking relaxation while still being just a short walk from the water.

Cala Blanca is a popular cove (where the neighborhood takes its name) that is minutes by foot from Casa Ortega.

What makes this property unique

It was important for us to have indoor and outdoor space, but also a community. Casa Ortega is 2-storey bungalow with a large exterior terrace with a dining area and chill out zone. The large community pool is perfect for summer days, and the popular Cala Blanca is minutes away by foot.

We completely renovated the home in 2024, while preserving as many of the original gems such as the wooden beams, fireplace and staircase. Did I mention that we are in love with the exterior archs made with Tosca (a sandstone native to Javea)?
