About this property
Gwens House - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
A blissful bolthole with chocolate-box proportions, Gwen's House is a great option for those seeking a romantic Anglesey holiday cottage for two, or a family with little ones. Not only does it offer a great location for all of Anglesey's attractions, but it boasts a characterful interior with a stunning stone fireplace and thoughtful amenities. What's more - it's pet friendly, so your furry friend can join too.
Ground floor
Living Room/Diner
In the style of a traditional cottage, you'll enter into a living space with a roaring logburner, smart TV with linked Nintendo Switch and breakfast bar seating. A galley kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a washing machine, microwave, oven, kettle and toaster.
Family Bathroom
Continuing on into the cottage, the family bathroom sits on the ground floor and has a large walk in shower, WC and basin.
First Floor
Bedroom 1
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The larger of the two features a double bed with smart TV and vaulted ceilings with original beams.
Bedroom 2
The smaller bedroom is a bunk room, with double on the bottom and single on top with smart TV. Pleas be aware that while this room is ideal for children, it is a squeeze for adults.
Outside
To the rear of the cottage, you can enjoy an enclosed patio with hot tub, outdoor seating and charcoal BBQ.
Gwen's House is one of three properties which shares a communal space to the rear. Through the garden gate you'll find a games room with a 4ft multi sport games table (table football, air hockey and pool) and a covered picnic area for al fresco dining. There is free onroad parking, or space for 1-2 cars at the back which is available on a first come first serve basis with the other houses.
The Local Area
Gwen's House is on Anglesey's south coast, in the village of Brynsiencyn. On foot, there is a pub and cafe nearby, while several other attractions including Halen Môn sea salt, Foel Farm Park and Anglesey Sea Zoo are all around 2 miles away.
If you're coming by car, you can also discover the historic community of Menai Bridge with its many shops, restaurants and scenic spots, or instead head to Newborough, a stunning and romantic beach where Wales' Matron Saint of Lovers is said to be buried. In addition, the National Trust property Plas Newydd is just up the road and is alive with Grade I listed beauty, a protected red squirrel woodland and mesmerising views across the Menai Strait.
