About this property

Luxurious dog friendly house sleeps 6, close to beaches and short stroll to pub

With its fully secure garden The Coach House is located in a quiet village, next to the church and a short stroll from our award-winning, dog and family friendly village pub which has a great selection of local ales and lovely garden.

The Coach House is very family friendly and we supply extra baby equipment free of charge so that you don't have to bring the kitchen sink with you - your holiday starts as soon as you set through the door! On request we can supply baby monitors, sterilising equipment, cots, high chairs, baby baths etc.

The house is super dog friendly too - we supply water/feed bowls, feeding mats, leads, treats, toys, crates, holiday tags, poo bags/bins, towels, sofa throws and much more. North Norfolk is fantastic for dog walks and we also provide information, via our app, on the best dog friendly walks, beaches, restaurants etc so that you can make the most of your stay.

All our guests LOVE our in-house app! It's our virtual concierge service which tells you all the best places to eat, visit, shop and things to do in Norfolk - it gives our guests the inside track on all things Norfolk and really helps them make the most of every second of their stay with us.

The Coach House is in a great location with easy access to beautiful beaches, the Broads and Norwich and offers a real escape from it all. There are fantastic restaurants and gastro pubs to savour locally including Michelin starred restaurants - some of our favourites are The Suffield Arms, The Gunton Arms, The Walpole Arms, Morston Hall and The Pigs at Edgefield. If you're feeling energetic why not try Glide Surf School in Cromer or Sail North Norfolk with Zoe on her Stiffley Cockle (a sailing boat used to explore the creeks and coastal waters of beautiful North Norfolk). There are numerous sites for twitchers, mot notably Pensthorpe Park made famous by the BBC's Springwatch programme.

Reclaimed exposed timber beams, a secluded, walled south facing lawn and expansive outside seating area make this a perfect location to sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The ideal base for your Norfolk adventure.

The main access into The Coach House is via the Games Room which houses the table football, additional television and slouchy beanbags for children to chill out on. There is a downstairs cloakroom and large cupboard to house outdoor coats, buckets and spades, crabbing equipment etc. There is also access to the first floor Barn Bedroom via the second staircase. Both staircases have doors at ground floor level so access to the first floor can be controlled.

The spacious sitting room has an inglenook fireplace and woodburner plus direct access to the terrace outside. Three 2 seater sofas and large coffee table form a sociable and relaxing entertaining area for friends and family to enjoy. There is a large screen TV, DVD player and selection of family friendlygames and puzzles. WiFi is superfast and available in every room of the house.

There is a large, open plan kitchen/dining area with a dining table for six guests and enough pots, pans and other equipment to make you feel right at home! Light fills the room via the French door which opens onto the terraced dining area with large teak table for al fresco summer dining. There is a barbecue and the lawn has reclining chairs for early evening cocktails or lazy Sunday mornings.

Upstairs there are three very spacious bedrooms all with king-size Hypnos beds and each bedroom has its own shower or bath room. The master bedroom is vast and has a beautiful en suite shower room. The Church Bedroom has pretty views of the 14th century church tower - but don't worry there are no bells rung! The Barn Bedroom can be converted to two single beds on request. All of the beds have crisp white sheets and we supply fluffy white towels and complimentary toiletries.

We also supply a comprehensive welcome hamper so that you can relax the moment you arrive. Your holiday can start straight away with a cup of tea and piece of home-made cake, or something stronger if you prefer!

Incredible!

We stayed at the Coach House for a long weekend, just the two of us and our dog and we had the most relaxing time. It's spotless, well equipped and just stunning. We will be back with the extended family!

Lovely Relaxing Stay.

We booked The Coach House for a last minute 4 night stay as the 3 of us needed to recharge our batteries and hoped a change of scenery would help. Everything was made stress free and easy by Serena. The booking process and pre arrival info was excellent. We had no need to contact her during our stay as her online guidebook covered everything.Importantly though she made it clear that if we needed any “hand holding” we only had to message or ring her. - Perfect. We had lovely sunny weather so enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco (thankyou) on the terrace but could have been equally happy had it been cold and wet sitting by the log burner in the beautiful ,cosy ,relaxing lounge. The location was perfect for our trips to Norwich, The Broads and the many beaches and villages. Suffice to say we arrived tired and somewhat battered by life and left relaxed, happy and rejuvenated by our stay. Thankyou Serena.
