Nestled in the picturesque town of Alnwick in Northumberland, Homewood is a welcoming holiday let sleeping up to five guests. This beautiful detached home boasts a garden with outdoor furniture and private parking with a driveway. Within easy walking distance of Alnwick Castle and its enchanting gardens and Lilidorei, you'll be perfectly placed to enjoy nearby attractions during your stay. The Space:
A warm welcome awaits at Homewood. Head into the living room which has traditional features and a homely feel. Home to an electric stove which is ideal should the weather turn cooler, the space also houses a grey sofa, matching armchair, footstools and a Smart TV with a TalkTalk box.
To the rear of the living room is the dining room. The entire house is furnished in mid-century style, including a full, original Yorkshire Acorn oak dining set.
Homewood’s kitchen is home to a whole host of amenities including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob and toaster. A washing machine is also available in the adjoining utility room. You'll also find Polish pottery in the kitchen. This stoneware from Boleslawiec Lower Silesia belongs to the greatest of European ceramics. The expression through a unique technique of painting makes this pottery so timeless and fascinating. Each item is hand stamped using a special sponge! Polish potter (Bunzlau Keramik) also fulfills modern demands.
The kitchen leads into an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio outdoor seating area with a real sense of privacy.
The property sleeps five people across three bedrooms. The master bedroom is a king room with an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin and the third bedroom is a single. All of the bedrooms in Homewood benefit from storage space including wardrobes and chests of drawers.
The main family bathroom is located on the first floor, along with the bedrooms. Here you’ll find a bathtub with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
