About this property
Bryntin, Old Court Kenegie Manor Gulval Penzance
Welcome to Bryntin at Kenegie Manor, Gulval!
Just a minute’s walk from the on-site swimming pool, shop, launderette, and tennis court, Bryntin offers a perfect base to explore West Cornwall. With parking right outside, you’re close to stunning coastal & country walks, Cornwall’s rich history, top eateries and famous film locations like House of the Dragon and Poldark. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, I’m always happy to share tips to make your stay unforgettable!
The space
Purchased in February 2025 and, British Army veteran owned, the property is clean, warm, comfortable and well-located but we know it’s a little tired and dated in places so we plan to redecorate and add some new features at the end of 2025 and we’ve priced it accordingly for this season.
The property is a reverse level home with the living areas upstairs, giving views over the site and farmland. The living area upstairs is open plan with kitchen, dining area and lounge. The lounge has a TV, an ‘L’ shaped sofa which also includes a pullout double bed and a recliner chair with footstool (top tip, be first to ‘bags’ it after a long day walking and you want to put your feet up!)
The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric 4 ring oven and hub, plus the usual crockery, cutlery and pans etc.
Downstairs are the two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a comfy double bed with bedside lights and a built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds and more built-in wardrobe space. There is a small shower-room with corner shower, washbasin and WC. The front and rear of the house are accessed via a short corridor where there’s space to hang coats, dry damp dogs and store muddy shoes.
Outside to the front, is a small garden area with a wooden picnic table whilst, at the back of the property is the car parking space (please note, the road leading to the rear of the property was built with small cars in mind and has a sharp bend which will catch the wheels of estate or large cars. We recommend dropping shopping off at the front and then parking in the overflow carpark nearby if you have large/ long wheelbase car).
The whole property is yours for enjoying and relaxing, plus the use of the manors’ swimming pool, tennis courts, bar, restaurant and launderette etc. Please contact reception on arrival to check pool availability etc.
