About this property
Lovely peaceful caravan site set in wooded grounds-private access to the beach
The caravan is on a peaceful spacious holiday site close to the historic town of Watchet. There is private access to a fossil hunters beach. Free parking. Watchet has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, small museums and a steam railway station. East Quay is a wonderful new gallery with artists studios, exhibitions and great food in the cafe.
The caravan is comfortable and very well equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, DVD player, DAB radio and CD player. The kitchen has microwave, air fryer, kettle, fridge freezer, oven, hob and grill. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is excellent.
The main bedroom has an en suite WC and wash basin. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good nights sleep.
The outside patio is suppled with table, chairs and sun umbrella.
There are lots of things to do close by in Minehead, Dunster village and castle and Porlock. Fantastic walking in the Quantock hills and nearby Wimbleball Lake. We highly recommend the food at The Valiant Soldier in nearby Roadwater- booking essential in high season. There are children’s activities at Torre Cider Farm and at Tropiquaria Zoo, Watchet.

About the host
Hosted by Clare John

We are Clare and Rob, artists and grandparents. We live in Wales and love to spend time in our comfortable Park Home near Watchet.
Why they chose this property
Watchet appealed to us because of its harbour, many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and also the award winning East Quay Art Gallery with cafe, shop and artists studios. We love that Somerset is beautiful and not as crowded as neighbouring Devon and Cornwall.
What makes this property unique
We have carefully decorated and dressed our Park Home with some of our paintings and crafts. All the curtains have been custom made with blackout linings. We have a small library of great reads and a choice of DVDs. The kitchen is very well equipped- including a knife sharpener so cooking is made easy!
