About this property

Romantic Beachfront One-Bedroom Villa

Step out of your bedroom right onto your very own patio on a white sandy beach, Savaneta's most romantic hide-away. This secure gated property is one of 39 homes in Aruba built right on the water (not across the street from the beach).

Our one-bedroom villa is ideal for a romantic couple or up to three people with a cot. It offers a queen size bed, kitchen, renovated modern bathroom with hot water shower, outdoor bar, and Zen seating area under patio cover overlooking a palm garden and the ocean.

Outdoor Patio and Beach:
* Covered patio Zen decorated living space
* Unique outdoor kitchen area with sink in a marble mosaic countertop, and charcoal Bar-B-Q
* Outdoor patio seating, including dining tables and chairs, chaise lounges, portable beach chairs

Fishing & Boating:
Fishing is available right off of the dock near our villa but if you want a real adventure, you can charter a small boat from the fishermen who dock by the restaurants down the street (Zeerover), or head to port to charter a fully-equipped deep sea fishing boat or even a beautiful sailboat to take you snorkeling around the island, catch the sunset, and enjoy the views.

Scuba & Snorkeling:
Scuba diving is recommended right off our beach. Put on your tank and swim directly to a picturesque 100 foot wall reef teaming with colorful fish and a family of turtles. It is also one of the best snorkeling sites in the Caribbean. Experienced English speaking dive masters are a phone call away, available for private dives right off our beach or elsewhere on the island.

Restaurants:
Two of Aruba's most exceptional restaurants are within walking distance along our stretch of beach. One is Zeerover, the local's fishing station serving the "catch of the day." It provides fresh seafood to the restaurants in Aruba, and serves the 'catch of the morning' for lunch or sunset-viewing in a truly local and down-to-Earth wharf setting. When feeling adventurous, there is an opportunity to charter a fishing excursion there as well. The other is the romantic Flying Fishbone where you can sit at a transporting white-tablecloth restaurateur and have a Michelin-worthy meal with your feet in the ocean. Also near by are the restaurants Arubaville, Barefoot and Marina Pirata which require a short drive. There are also quite a few delicious local restaurants in the neighborhood.

Groceries:
There is a local supermarket a 5 minute walk away and several others within short driving distance.

Away from the crowds of hotel bustle, in a paradise garden right on the beach, among the chirping of birds and parrots, and in the constant rhythm of the surf. Share your lunch with hummingbirds in the garden or with pelicans on the beach.

Escape to Robinson Crusoe's world!

The house is in the fishing village of Savaneta, ancient port city and old capital of Aruba. It is situated half way between Oranjestad and Baby beach, about a 7 minutes' drive from the airport.

For parties of more than three, please consider renting our 2 bedroom Villa or for larger groups, renting both Villas together vrbo/460852

Amazing stay at Peachy Beach Villas!

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Peach Beach Villas. From the moment we booked Dan, the owner was immediately responsive and helpful. From the moment we landed until (after) we checked out, Fiar (property manager) was a gracious and helpful host. The photos posted online are accurate, the views are amazing, and the stay was comfortable. I would 100% recommend this host and location to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing experience. Fiar not only recommend some amazing restaurants and activities on our own, but he also got us in contact with Chris, a local scuba/snorkel instructor who took us out for an amazing turtle watch experience. If you are even considering a trip to Aruba and want a private waterfront experience with its own beach, Peachy Beach Villas is definitely the spot for you!! We will most certainly be back!!

Mother/daughter trip

This was our first trip to Aruba. I took my daughter for her college spring break. We didn’t want to stay in the hotel high rise/cruise ship port area. I’m so glad we didn’t and that we found this gem! If you’re looking to get away from the crowds and noise, this place is it. The way the apartments are situated you feel you have the whole place to yourself. You share a common area with 3 other apartments, but we enjoyed hanging out in the evenings chatting about our adventures and upcoming plans.I would definitely recommend a car to get around though there is a grocery store and 2 restaurants within walking distance. Driving is pretty simple once you master the traffic circles and everything is pretty much within 20 minutes. The drivers are courteous which was a breath of fresh air.Our host, Fiar, was the BEST! He recommended things to do, places to eat and was always available for those last minute questions. We loved that the host provided beach towels, cooler, chairs and snorkel gear. And you can snorkel right off the back patio.I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. Excellent communication with the Peachy Beach crew. Very helpful and very responsive. We love the one bedroom villa, there is everything there you need - from cooking to beach gear - snorkeling, beach chairs, kayaks. Walking distance to get groceries or to restaurants like Zeerovers or Flying Fishbone. Highly recommend it. Can’t wait ti get back.

Perfect Vacation

This property could not have been more perfect for our 25th anniversary trip without kids. We were right on the water, in a small quiet setting, and away from the hotels and traffic. We loved being so close to the water, not having to fight for beach space, and having lots of shade on the beach under a tree and under the covered patio. The unit was clean and updated and had everything we needed to cook. JJ the property manager was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit. We loved snorkeling right off the beach and the gear was already there for us. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the best place to stay in Aruba!

This little gem is honestly my new favorite place to stay. The location is perfect away from all the tourests and cruise ships but close enough to visit these areas just to realize how lucky you are that you didn't stay there. The local restaurants and beaches are incredible. Highly recommend!

We Absolutely Love This Place!

This is our second year renting this unit (and plan to return next winter). We love the ease of navigating not only quiet and peaceful Savaneta, but the entire island. The unit is spotless, quaint, and private, and has everything we need to enjoy the consistently warm weather of Aruba. The ocean access provides an excellent opportunity to take a beach float and tie it off on the bouy just offshore. The host and management are kind and helpful and always respond to questions right away. We highly recommend this location

Our Favorite Hideaway

We love this little seaside cottage. It was our second time staying here and they had made some improvements (the new bed was a HUGE improvement), such as an authentic mural that ties in perfectly with all the artwork you can find during a stroll through San Nicholas. The apartment has everything you need and nothing you don't. It's easy to forget what day it is and just spend hours reading and relaxing, cooking together or take a short drive (everything is within a half hour) to see the sights or take advantage of the amazing restaurants found across the island.

Idyllic Vacation in Paradise!

Everything about this property was not only exactly as described, but exactly as we would have wanted it to be. It was tidy and efficient, easy to take care of, and the location was near everything we needed. The local dive shop was 12 minutes away, and if we wanted to just relax at “home” the ocean was right in front of the unit, with a shallow bouy for me to tie up my float. The owners were gracious and helpful! We’ll be back!

A slice of heaven

The villa was fabulous. J.J. the property manager gave us an overview of the property, local dining recommendations, and was accessible whenever we needed. He was fantastic! The one bedroom had a king bed, complimentary soaps and shampoo, and had all the amenities needed for cooking. They provided a cold water pitcher, complimentary wine, a basket of snacks, two backpack beach chairs, and snorkeling gear. There were two a/c units and hot water showers if needed. The location was only several properties away from Zeerovers and the Flying Fishbone. The sunset view from the property cannot be beat! The host met and exceeded our expectations with no details left unmet.

Great Place Great Price

Avoid the cowards and stay here. This unit was great. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The price was great too. We were not sure about staying here or a mainstream hotel. We made the right choice. The Area is very safe don't worry about that ( I know we did ). You can park your car right there, and just step out side and you can go swimming. If you stay here I would highly suggest you get a rental call. Everything is just a 20 min away.

Awesome

Perfect location on the beach. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing away from all the resorts and cruise ship ports which are on the other end of the island. Awesome beach, most of the time you have it all to yourself. Great snorkeling right at the house. Also visited Baby Beach and Mangel Halto. Our beach had the best snorkeling. Property is gated so felt secure. Outside patio area is great, helps keep sand out of the house, great outside seating and eating area. Outdoor shower very nice. House is small but comfortable, bedroom closet and shelving is very handy. Nice inside shower. We didn't cook but seemed to have all the basics. We were inside the house mainly for sleeping. Entire property is well maintained and clean! You should be aware that there is another VRBO house and the owner's house on the property. This was not a problem for us, owner was not there and other VRBO house occupants were cordial but also wanted privacy so we couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Recommend renting a car so you can visit other parts of the island. Fiarlogene will give you contact info. Fiarlogene was very helpful, answered all my questions prior to arrival and was available during our stay. Thank you Fiarlogene! . Spent all out time birding and snorkeling. Saw 49 bird species in the island, including 14 at the house. Walking distance to Zeerovers and The Flying Fishbone restaurants. LaGranja restaurant and Delicious Burger food truck on Route 1 were great! House convenient to grocery stores. Highly recommend snuba and private cabana rental at De Palm Island. Make De Palm reservations as soon as you book this rental before they are full. This was a perfect house for us and we had a wonderful time in Aruba! Thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your paradise!

About the host

We fell in love with Aruba 20 years ago when we first visited as tourists escaping the cold of a New York City winter. But out of curiosity, seeking a variety of experiences, and wishing to learn about other cultures, we continued to explore other destinations in the Caribbean and Central America. No matter where we went, we always felt it was not quite as wonderful as being in Aruba. Aruba offered perfect hot weather, whereas in many other destinations we had to spend some days waiting for the rain to pass. In many other islands, we felt sorry for the native population, whereas in Aruba, we made friends with many of them. Aruba does not have shanty towns, it provides employment for most of the population who pride themselves as 'one happy island'. Most Arubeans speak English, Dutch, and Spanish so there is never a problem communicating.
The white beaches are gorgeous, considered some of the most beautiful in the world, the water is clear and warm at 80 degrees most of the year. As far as water sports, there is everything available: incredible snorkeling and diving, world class windsurfing and kite surfing with steady trade winds, deep sea fishing, sunset cruises, jet skiing and tubing. Sunsets are breathtaking with many viewing sites (other than our own back yard...) serving drinks of your choice. At night, we love visiting our favorite restaurants. There are quite a few great restaurants serving gourmet food in transporting settings, and Casinos stay open through the night. The more we had seen in the Caribbeans, the more we missed Aruba. Then on September 11, 2001 we were in New York City when it was under attack. Soon after that traumatic experience, we decided we wanted to find a home away from conflict. Now, we ventured on a hunt for a peaceful land where we could feel safe. After much research and exploration, we were lucky to find a property right on the beach in our favorite island. The property has an additional guest house which we are proud to share

Why they chose this property

For many years, whenever we visited Aruba, we stayed at the big hotels on the island. But as a personal treat, as the icing on the cake, we made a tradition of ending our vacation dining at our favorite restaurant The Flying Fishbone in the remote fisherman's village of Savaneta.
The taxi ride to the restaurant made us feel we were getting to see the real country-side. At the hotels' section, it was busy, crowded, and hectic. But as we drove away from there, we met a sense of quiet, a down to earth sensibility. So when we looked for a house in Aruba, we were insistent to find a house right on the beach. Very few (less than 40)of Aruba's homes are built on the beach-most are across the street so we were thrilled when we found an ancient house on the beach in Savaneta, the village of our best memories.
We have since worked tirelessly to renovate, update, and modernize the home while keeping its traditional structure preserved. We cherish every moment we spend at our home. We hope you do the same.

What makes this property unique

No words can describe the beauty of being on the water better than the pictures taken from our back yard/beach.
When we arrive at the house, there is a realization that we have landed in paradise. There is a different beauty to every hour of the day: The calm breeze of the early morning, the bright yellow heat of mid day, the pink hues that glide on the ocean, and paint the sand in the afternoon. It is constantly changing and trasforming until the sun finally kisses the horizon, and the sky goes on fire. The perfect viewing spot is in the hammock under the Divi tree on the beach. We try to spend all of our time outdoor in nature. As there are so few homes on the water in Aruba, it was a treasure for us to find. In addition, the main house is a typical 'kunuku' house traditional to the country side of Aruba. it was built more than 100 years ago of coral. We have tried to preserve its heritage while modernizing and improving its ammenities.
