You want to breathe, marvel, relax, spend a serene vacation as a couple or family, while discovering the authentic Basque Country: Come spend an unforgettable vacation, in our renovated house, located in the province of Labourd between two beautiful picturesque villages : Espelette and Itxassou.
Our house is a detached house of 185 m².
• On the ground floor you will find a large Basque-style dining room with a fireplace, two fitted kitchens, a wine cellar, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a dressing room, a garage.
• Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, 2 with balconies (all of them overlook pretty views), a corridor and a bathroom with a shower and a WC.
• On the large terrace with a breathtaking view, you can relax at breakfast, lunch, or dinner enjoying the magnificent view of the Basque mountains, grill on the barbecue, you can also enjoy the garden, the squeeze and cool off in the pool in summer.
• From this terrace you will have access to the studio adjoining the house: it has a bedroom, a small fitted kitchen, and a bathroom with a large shower and a toilet.

With a little luck, you will meet our two pottocks, Bijoux and Bonita who come to maintain our meadow.

You will have Internet access by wifi.
Provide a deposit on arrival in the amount of € 1000.

Lovely stay

Our family and friends of us (total of 4 adults, 4 kids age 7-11) stayed at the house for one week and loved it - the property and its surroundings are beautiful and the pool is really nice. All communication with Jean-Luc and Nathalie, as well as with the property manager, Isabelle, was quick and easy. Would recommend this place!

Formidable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est idéale le site superbe. C’est très calme on se sent isolés de tout mais plages comme montagnes sont accessibles rapidement. Jean Luc et Nathalie sont très gentils et nous ont très bien accueillis avec de bons conseils. Merci pour ce fabuleux séjour

Un petit regret concernant le salon sui n est pas tres confortable. L amenagement de la piece a vivre n est pas top. La cuisine est tres bien equipee. On trouve tous les ustensiles necessaire. La piscine est tres agreabke. La vue extra..

Séjour à Espelette/Itxassou

Excellent séjour dans une très belle résidence sur les hauteurs d'Espelette. Vues locales à apprécier depuis la terrasse ou la piscine (chauffée). Plein de possibilités de balades pédestres depuis la résidence ou dans la région. Nous avons aussi profiter des activités festives locales (villages avoisinants et fêtes de Bayonne).

Lovely house with amazing views

Great house four three families with children. Two kitchens that easily have room for cooking for 12 people. Nice tables for dining both inside and outside. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The pool area had been renovated since the pictures were taken so that is better than what is shown. A lovely place and really helpful contact with the landlord.

Endroit très agreable, belle maison et belle piscine. Nous avons bien été reçu. Endroit très au calme et superbe vue. Dommage que nous n'avons pas eu le beau temps souhaité, mais nous avons passe un agréable séjour en famille.

Top Quartier mit kleinen Abstrichen

Positiv: Mitten in der Natur mit großem Komfort, Ruhe durch Alleinlage. Herrliche Sicht auf die Berge. Am nahen Flugplatz war in einer Woche kein Start oder Landung. Alles sehr gepflegt und fast perfekt sauber. Umfangreiche Ausstattung mit großem und leistungsfähigen Kühl-Gefrierschrank, Küchenutensilien, Gläsern und Geschirr in allen Mengen. Schöne Bäder (auch im Nebengebäude). Berge vom Haus aus zu Fuß und Meer mit Auto gut erreichbar. Netter Kontakt und Einweisung vor Ort mit der Beauftragten des Vermieters. Flasche Rotwein zur Begrüßung vom Eigentümer. Sehr gepflegter, ausreichend großer und z.T. auch richtig tiefer Außenpool. Frisch gemähter Rasen im gepflegten Garten. Stellplätze für mehrere Autos im abgesperrten Grundstück. Negativ: knarzende Holztreppe, laute und schwer schließende Zimmertürschlösser, Küche auf 2 Räume verteilt. einer davon fensterlos mit Garagenambiente. Das Nebengebäude zum Wohnen zwar hübsch aber eher unangenehm wegen gewisser Raumfeuchtigkeit mit leicht muffigem Geruch. Im Haupthaus nur kleines Wohnzimmersofa, sonst nur riesiger Esstisch und Stühle (wir waren eh nur draussen). Der Gartengrill etwas abseits vom Hauptgebäude ohne Sitzplätze in der direkten Umgebung. Schimmelecke in einem Bad. Eine der Toiletten direkt unter der Innentreppe ohne Handwaschbecken. Aber unterm Strich: gerne in einem guten Sommer wieder !

MERVEILLEUX

Cette location correspondait tout à fait à ce que nous attendions: emplacement exceptionnel au calme sans aucun vis à vis, équipements hauts de gamme et parfaitement conformes à la description du bien. La propriété est en parfait état et très propre, mieux encore que sur les photos. Nous avons passé 3 semaines exceptionnelles, sauf si le temps de la 2ème semaine est resté maussade. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. Nous n'étions que 2 mais avons pu accueillir nos amis dans la dépendance. La piscine est parfaite avec une vue magnifique. Nous recommandons fortement cette location. N'hésitez pas à y aller, vous ne serez pas déçus. PS: ne manquez pas le restaurant " Le Chêne" à Itxassou, une très bonne adresse. Armelle et Patrick et leurs toutous! ( du Finistère)
