Beautiful cottage in a tranquil location with stunning views, close to Killarney
Well positioned in Muckross approx. 10km from the bustling town of Killarney, this home is situated in a beautiful rural location with stunning views over Loughquittane Lake.
The house has an open plan living space with a modern well equipped kitchen. Outdoor seating is available for those lovely summer evenings when dining al-fresco. In the evening time, retire indoors to the homely sitting room equipped with a smart TV and free WiFi. The house is an A-rated building with under floor heating to keep you cosy what ever the weather may bring. Our three cosy bedrooms can sleep up to 6 people in total with 2 double beds and 2 single beds. One double bedroom and one shower room is easily accessible downstairs while the other 2 bedrooms and the second shower room are on the first floor.
The nearest shop is 8km away, as is the entrance to the world famous Killarney National Park and Muckross House. Torc Waterfall as well as Ross Castle are also on our doorstep. In the centre of Killarney town you will find all your nearest conveniences such as a host of handy shops where you can stock up on all your essentials. There are several quaint pubs and and world class restaurants for those evenings you don't feel like cooking.
The thriving town of Killarney nestles amidst the deep, lake filled valleys in the heart of the beautiful south west of Ireland. The popular destination offers an abundance of traditional pubs, fine restaurants, Ireland's National Events Centre and a host of good shops. Hire a horse drawn jaunting car, explore the fabulous walks of Killarney National Park or indulge in a spot of tranquil fishing. A range of wonderful beaches, including Rossbeigh and Inch, are within an hours drive.
Well positioned to journey to Tralee, the Dingle Peninsula, the famous Ring of Kerry, Kerry County Museum and Tralee Bay Wetlands, you'll never be short of things to do. Also a perfect base for lovers of the great outdoors with loads of walking/hiking trails and the highest mountain in Ireland - Carrauntoohil.
