This house is so adorable and comfortable. The house is so clean, there wasn’t a speck of dirt anywhere. There is a big fireplace inside and out, we had a beautiful fire every day. The owner was quick to come by when we couldn’t figure out the flue. The location is beautiful and right on a river. Nicole was great with helping with everything we needed to make our visit the best. We will definitely be returning.
We’ve been to Blue Ridge a handful of times, but this was the best place we’ve stayed at by far! It was a perfect place for our 10 year old, 3 year old and newborn, with nothing too steep on the property, an awesome playground and game room! The cabin was so beautiful, smelled amazing, was spacious for our family of 7 and was a perfect location to many activities! We will definitely be back!
This home was amazing for our end of summer getaway with our family friends! The outdoor space and easy access to the water was a huge perk for our crew as we have three boys. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend getaway. The woodsy setting was so peaceful with the brook and numerous deer to watch. The house was pristine and the kitchen well stocked. Our favorite spot was the back deck where we enjoyed the fireplace and watching the Dawgs and Vols win!
We absolutely loved staying at this home for the week! Nicole was wonderful at communicating, the place was super clean, easy to get to (that was a concern being from Florida), close to everything (Downtown, Mercier, grocery stores) and the backyard was just PERFECT! It’s always nerve wracking booking a place online but this one exceeded all expectations!
We have stayed at 5 or 6 cabins and this by far is our favorite. This is our second time staying and hopefully many more. Everything about the place is awesome and you couldn't be treated better
We had a great time visiting Blue Ridge and staying at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed the creek in the backyard in the outside fireplace with TV. We would definitely love to come stay here again this summer.
We had a magical stay for thanksgiving. The kitchen was fantastic and stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook all of our meals. We were able to eat all of our meals at the house which gave more time for visiting instead of traveling. This was a beautiful house with beautiful views and a fantastic host. Highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful views, clean house, amazing porch! My only complaint is that the upstairs beds and pillows are really uncomfortable so it wasn't a good nights rest but the views made it worth it.
The Cabin and property was absolutely gorgeous! Everything from the decor to the outside sitting area neat to the bubbling creek was planned with care to bring the beauty of nature into ever aspect! The beds were extremely comfortable and my children fully enjoyed riding the tubes down the creek in the back! If you want a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this cabin is absolutely what you need.
We had a great time at Silver Eagle! The cabin is perfect for families. Very clean, well appointed and in a great location. They have lots for kids to play outside and mine spent hours exploring in the creek. My older kids really loved the game garage and the party porch was perfect for a s’mores night and relaxing with our coffee in the mornings. Thanks for the fun memories! We will definitely be back!
Location was perfect, the house was so homey and well-kept. Kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable. But the hidden gem of this property is how AMAZING the back porch is! We spent all our time at the cabin outside, whether we were by the creek, playing outside with the kids, watching football, or playing board games with the sound of the creek next to us. We all agreed that this has been our favorite cabin we've ever stayed at! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!
We loved the location but had quite a few issues that left us disappointed.
We loved having access to the creek and the outdoor living area was great. The cabin was spacious and well decorated. But there were ants in the kitchen, every piece of outdoor furniture had bird droppings on it, and the keypad and outdoor trash cans were covered in spider webs. It seems like a last minute cleaning could have made it more welcoming. There was a huge beautiful outdoor fireplace but no extra firewood. Our biggest problem was the water. It had such a strong rust smell that we all smelled like metal after showering. It turned our clothes yellowish when we used the washing machine, and we could barely stand to brush our teeth. My kids said they smelled like a penny after bathing. I could get past everything and return again if it wasn’t for the rust smell.
Loved our stay here! The location is perfect! Easy to get to different activities and hiking and food. Had groceries delivered here too upon arrival. We enjoyed the creek behind the house and the outdoor fireplace every night! With a toddler with us, the host provided a pack n play and a baby gate for the stairs. Game room was a blast! There were some issues with the hot water but other than that we loved our stay!
We come to Blue Ridge regularly on vacation. We usually stay up in the mountains. This was our first time down in by a creek. We loved it!!! The outdoor area was the best!! We loved just being out by the fire and playing in the creek. The master bed was super comfy and the decor and the home was perfect.
First the property managers Nicole and Janet went ABOVE and beyond for us. We had two issues (of our own making) and they were so understanding, kind, helpful and they transcended customer service to assist us. I was in tears of gratefulness for what Nicole did for us.
The property is beautiful and relaxing. The cabin sits right on a little rock dam that relaxes you to the sounds of a waterfall. We loved sitting at the outside fireplace. I spent hours in the hammock just listening to the water. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. This is the spot if you want to unplug and relax. We will be booking again.
We have stayed in North Georgia cabins' many times over the years but truly there have been none like Silver Eagle Lodge! The cabin itself is in a perfect setting and has everything you need inside, but the closer is the fantastic outside living area and the creek. We couldn't have asked for a better week and a nicer cabin. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I desired to take our four grandchildren on vacation. We pondered over what the perfect vacation would look like considering our grandchildren range from five to fourteen years in age. They all love the outdoors so we took that into consideration when planning our trip.
The area of Blue Ridge provided us with so many new experiences for the children. We were able to visit an apple orchard, take a train excursion, visit a waterfall, go gem mining, take a tube ride down the river and enjoy a lot of great food.
The children requested to stay at the cabin a few days to enjoy the creek, game room and outdoor area. Their days in the creek were spent looking for salamanders and watching the trout swim.
This property more than met our expectations.
Thank you for sharing this property with us and allowing us to make such wonderful memories with our grandchildren.
We rent upscale cabins in this region 1 to 2 times a year for family vacations for the last 10 years or so. This is by far the cleanest cabin we have ever rented. The fittings, fixtures and furniture are all top shelf. The master bed was exceptionally comfortable. The best part though IMO was the outdoor living space, what a beautiful place to relax. The kids fished and played in the creek from sun up to sun down. We sat on the deck relaxing most of the day and played in the creek with the kids too. I dont know if we have ever had a more peaceful stay than this one. We will visit this one again for sure! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We deeply appreciated the care and attention you pay to your property. It is well maintained and so clean! Summer in the mountains usually brings bugs and spiders etc.... the home had not a cob web on it anywhere, not even the deck. My personal fav was coffee and yoga on the deck everymorning.... what a way to wake up!
