About this property

Vine Cottage - pet friendly in Paxford near Chipping Campden

Hidden away in this quiet corner of the Cotswolds you have both the idyllic countryside and the bustle of village life on your doorstep. Vine Cottage provides the ideal base for exploring, but you may find it difficult to tear yourself away from this fabulous house.

Staying here is a real treat and you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. There is so much to discover, starting from the living room which is flooded with light. The large sofa calls for you to sink into it as the fire crackles. The most important part of a family holiday is being able to spend time together, and Vine Cottage provides this in abundance. A dining table seats eight with ease and there's extra room in the kitchen if the children want their own space while still being nearby. French doors open out from the kitchen and dining room making this a fantastic spot in the summer months as you let in the fresh air. Head to the reading room for a more personal conversation or just for an after dinner drink and flick through a magazine. Across the first and second floor the bedrooms are divine. Each has a simple elegance with a TV and plenty of storage, two even have their own en-suite.

Outside the ease of space continues. Children and pets will love the lawned garden and there's a BBQ and table and chairs if you fancy an al fresco feast. With parking for up to five cars, everything you could need is here!

Living Room
The hub of the home - the living room is made for relaxing, talking, watching films, playing board games and enjoying the ambience of the open fire. The muted tones set the scene and it is fabulously filled with light.

Perfect place to stay in the Cotswolds

We loved our stay in this house. It’s in perfect condition and the location is amazing. It’s a very quiet area but easy walk to other villages and towns via Bridleways. One of our favourite houses in the UK. Outdoor area is great and we were fortunate it to use it as the weather was great. The dog loved it too! Perfect window seat for her when we were inside. Highly recommended home from home!
