The Shepherd's Hut at Hilltop Farm sits near a quiet country lane, making it the perfect base for exploring the area's scenic walking, horse riding, and cycling trails. Set within 10 acres of stunning, private land, this secluded retreat is surrounded by woodlands, offering a peaceful escape into nature. A friendly Shetland pony occupies one of the fields, but the rest is yours to explore freely.

Located just a few minutes' drive from the New Forest and only 4 minutes from the charming market town of Romsey. On-site, you'll find a designated fire pit for campfires or disposable barbecues, and children will love the woodland swing and fairy garden. The Shepherd’s Hut at Hilltop Farm welcomes pets during your stay.

The site features six shepherds' huts spread across the grounds, so some walking will be required. The bathroom hut includes a roll-top bath with shower taps (but no separate shower). Please note that the beds in both sleeping huts may not be ideal for taller guests, and the second sleeping hut has a small double daybed.

There are electric fences and barbed wire around some paddocks, and sheep may be present at certain times of the year. The access track is long and bumpy, so low-clearance vehicles should take extra care. To protect the local wildlife, this is a quiet camping site.
Any extra guests must be arranged in advance.
