About this property
NEW escapism>den unique cabin views 20min>JURASSIC COAST!
Perched on a retired dairy farm, on Dorset's AONB boarder, the "e>den" is a newly converted, escapism > den: a luxury, fun space inc. floor-ceiling glass to connect you to the outdoors (escape into the views) multicolour fun pendant lighting (escape in a celebration) designer seating & projector (get lost in a large,cinema-style film) & outdoor seating (escape toasting marshmallows?) or lie in bed & get lost star gazing through the floor>ceiling glass.
25 mins > Jurrassic coast/SW attractions.
The space
in an ever stressful, fast paced world, this is your opportunity to escape; stress... work...normality....your mind...life.?.. the escapism > den ("e>den") allows you step away from normality into your own bubble of escapism.
Whether its to have a celebration amongst your family; host a small celebration within your stay* hunker down and enjoy the countryside surroundings, play games, read, or embrace mindfulness activities (we have doodle pads, colouring books and activity books) or have some couples time!... the Escapism > den is a great retreat for you to kick back, unplug and chill!
Reconnect with a loved one/s, nature or your own mind in this special cosy space.
Celebration lighting in the form of large multicoloured disco pendant lights, ceiling decs and door streamers to set the mood for a fun escapist space to celebrate.** quirky high design and luxury mod cons are teamed functionality/great use of space is what makes the e>den special, unique and..fun!
Cleverly designed edgy details such as the custom-built cheese box furniture (it is perched on a retired dairy farm after all!) cleverly placed feature fun lighting, for a cosy/fun celebration atmosphere, Hand-made Morroccan tiles and a surface mounted sink, rustic Microcement bar and designer super comfy low level modular seating (perfect to seat visitors, or to curl up and get lost in a book) or to sleep and extra child.
Two single beds are positioned under the floor - ceiling glass / or projector blind allows for star gazing; or to immerse yourself in a large cinema-style film, alternatively, stack these to form a day bed to sit and escape next to the large glass end wall immersing yourself in the countryside views; train spot (the trainline runs over the bridge two fields away) or get lost watching the alpacas or horse gently graze in the paddock at the end of the garden.
There are also a number of fun games to get lost in! 😀...and some wonderful self help books for inspiration and tips and mindfulness activitt books; jot your dreams, or escape in colouring book whilst relaxing on the daybed.
(You can also watch children on the swing or trampoline from here; you're welcome to use these, but we highly recommend you accompany and watch from each aparatus).
The e>den has a fully equipped kitchenette (including a plug in induction hob and handmade Morroccan sink) , feature copper piping which you'll find your utensils on, and cheese box storage for larder items, pans and crockery. (We have nipper-friendly cutlery and crockery also!;o)
There is also a microwave for convenience, and a cafetière (snuggle with one whilst you unwind, unplug and immerse yourself in nature?)
The bathroom is the star of the show...a heady unique fusion of colour! of handmade multicolour Morroccan cement tiles (hosting UF heating!) complimented with a two tone loo/large sink and sorbet matt walls. The shower is the show-stopper; a brass rain (or attachment) shower and metal double porthole window to allow you to totally unplug and wash your worries away under a luxury rain shower whilst you gaze through the porthole at the countryside; or distant train beyond!
Other mod cons. such as a heating A/C unit to keep you toasty/cool, x2 sets of triple bifold doors (which span almost the whole length) and black out blinds make this a special unique place.
we also pride ourselves on offering feather pillows, duvets and full cotton bed linen. There are additional blankets, a sleeping bag and a travel cot should you require it (please request in advance).
