The property rests on the fringes of the New Forest National Park (1 mile) and the Cranborne Chase AONB (3 miles), offering ample opportunities for outdoor adventure. Follow the banks of the River Avon from your doorstep down to the Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve and the Northern Commons (both 5 miles), admiring pretty sights and wildlife en route, or head to Martin Down (8.5 miles) or the RSPB spot of Garston Wood (13 miles) a little further away. Fordingbridge (1 mile), your nearest town, is a destination to explore with its famous seven-arched medieval bridge. You can also enjoy days out at Fordingbridge Maize Maze and Sunflower Picking Patch (1.5 miles), the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (11 miles), and the Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park (6.5 miles).
High, vaulted ceilings, double-aspect windows, and light, bright décor add to the overwhelming appeal of this two-storey space. On arrival, pass through the capacious entrance hall and make your way upstairs, where the main living area is located. This large room boasts a lounge, kitchen, and dining space in one, complete with far-reaching countryside and river views from each window. At one side of the room, a bespoke-fitted kitchen welcomes any cook to get stuck in. At the opposite side, a lounge area with comfy seating and a Smart TV invites box set binges and movie nights. In between them, a dining table is set for relaxing mealtimes. The first of five bedrooms is upstairs, a charming double with an en-suite shower room and enviable views. Downstairs, discover the four remaining bedrooms. One is a large king-size, and three are twin rooms, each with freshly pressed linens and comfortable mattresses. Three of these rooms offer their own en-suite facilities, whilst the final room enjoys sole use of a separate bathroom.
Stepping outside, the luxury continues into the garden. At the side of the property, a suntrap, shingled patio space features outdoor seating and a fire pit for when the sun goes down. For keen fishermen, a fishing permit can be arranged with the owners for a beat on the River Avon.
