The Old Posthouse Barn Cosy one bedroom Barn conversion

We have lived at The Old Posthouse for nearly 20 years and have created two one bedroomed properties at our property The Old Posthouse Annexe (which is dog friendly) and our new holiday let The Old Posthouse Barn ( which does not accept pets). The Annexe is part of our main property (at the end) whilst The Barn is detached and situated just behind our double gates. We have both lived in and around Somerset most off our lives and so have a great understanding of the area and abit yonder! We also understand that not everyone wants to chat and so respect the privacy of all our guests but are available for any local info or recommendations.

We are situated on the main A38 which is a busy road at times and whilst both properties are double glazed some guests have not picked this up when booking and so I will always reiterate this on booking just to make sue you are aware. Most of our guests enjoy the position due to the proximity to local attractions and the ease of using the property as a base for touring we really are quite central to what Somerset has to offer. We enjoy our local pubs, there are three of them ( one only 4 doors away) The Lamb Inn, The white Hart and The New Inn. All within a 20 min walk ( some do it faster!!) The walks here are fantastic and are accessible from your front door. When we moved here nearly 20 years ago we had 2 dogs and being able to walk from the front door was great. You can access Crook Peak via Old Coach Road and you can take a walk to Axbridge and Cheddar from across the road (A38) through the fields and along the River Axe.

Our property The Old Posthouse Barn is a cosy two-storey barn conversion just perfect for two with private parking and available for short stays. The position makes it a great base for touring and sightseeing . The afternoon sun is trapped at the side of The Barn where we have provided a small seating area for you to enjoy.
