Town: The attractive village of Haydon Bridge is situated between the market town of Hexham and Haltwhistle, close to the A69, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, and only a short drive away from the magnificent remains of the Roman Forts on Hadrians Wall, a World Heritage Site. There are some delightful walks in the area, but perhaps the loveliest are at Allen Banks - 194 acres of woodland and riverside paths just 3 miles from Haydon Bridge.
