Ellary Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
Located off the sound of Jura between Lochs Sween and Caolisport, Ellary Cottage has views across the loch, with two beaches within easy reach. Ellary harbour is close by and is suitable for boating families. There is direct access to the Farm walk and all of the other walking areas starting from the Cottage.
Ellary is close to both the Kintyre Trail down the Kintyre Peninsular and also the Argyll Coast trail and there is almost too much choice of activates and highlights to try to fit into a week's holiday. Ellary Estate is a wild life haven with the chance to see fox, badger, otter, roe, sika and red squirrel in the oak woods and on the loch shores. Higher up the hills you will be unlucky if you are not able to watch the herds of grazing majestic red deer.
The area is one of outstanding unspoilt natural beauty and Ellary provides the perfect location for a quiet get away from it all peaceful holiday. The choice is yours whether you want a quiet unwind or to sample the wealth of outdoor pursuits on the door step to suitable abilities; the Estate has slipway facilities for small boats and the sailing is excellent Exploring the west coast is also possible with Oban about an hour or so by car to the north.
