"Memories Landing" within the scenic heart of Michigans storied Upper Peninsula, is serenely situated on an idyllic shoreline of Lake Michigan. A perfect family getaway, boasting picturesque and changing seasonal views. The sites single level, 3 bedroom home offers an open concept on a large well maintained setting.
Residential positives also include floor to ceiling windows, a feature fireplace, newly refurbished bathroom, newer washer and dryer in a convenient laundry area, a quarter bath, and a spacious attached 2 car garage.

The quiet neighborhood includes a park, just up the road, and a beautiful light house roughly 6 miles away. If you are interested in a trip around the Upper peninsula Munising is a little over an hour away. Munising has beautiful waterfalls as well as Pictured Rocks, which is a must see.

UP Nostalgia

I vacation to the UP for the specific purpose of feeling like time slows down. This property feels like stepping back in time. The appliances, fixtures, etc. are updated and in good repair, but the overall vibe of the property is definitely 70s/80’s. No issue for us, just know that it’s not “modern” decor and furnishings. Unbelievable location and view, right on little bay de noc of Lake Michigan. No regrets of our stay.

Beautiful place and location

We loved our stay here. It is secluded and quiet. Water was beautiful, steps away from the house, and kids enjoyed swimming. They have water toys there. House is very comfortable. House does not have A/C.

Beautiful and peaceful get away!

Spectacular view, comfortable house, quiet and peaceful location, and private setting! This house was exactly what we needed for a mid winter get away just to sit and relax from life for a little while. Host was available by phone any time and very courteous!

Peaceful Oasis

Being right on the water is what attracted us to this listing, and it did not disappoint. The home sits in a quiet neighborhood with the ability to walk out the back door and swim in the Little Bay de Noc, part of Lake Michigan. There was ample outdoor seating on the back patio to enjoy the sounds of the water as well, and to admire the gorgeous sunsets. My wife and I and our twin toddlers enjoyed our stay, and would gladly stay here again.

Sibling getaway

We grew up in across the Bay and were able to sit and enjoy the beauty of the area and the view is spectacular. The home was great!

Beautiful Beach

Our stay was great, 2nd stay. Only negative this stay was being told we couldn’t walk the beach, which is why we stay there! So we just went the other way! We had everything we needed, and the apple trees made some darn good pies!!!

Beautiful retreat

We enjoyed both the location and the property. The white carpet had a few spots but furniture in living room was new and patio furniture was very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The ability to use the two kayaks was a bonus! Beach is huge and very sandy over all. I would recommend bringing an adult life vest if you want to use these. Property manager was very attentive and the setting was very serene. Only thing that would have made it better would be a fire pit on the beach.

Disappointing

Property needs TLC. And that's an understatement. Outdoors...view, decks, beach, wonderful. Indoors leaves much to be desired. Let's leave it at that.

Rapid River

Nice location on the bay. It was odd that the owner had personal items everywhere. It needs to be posted that the renters need to strip beds, dishes done and wash the towels. We had a early flight and a 6 hour drive and had to leave by 6am.

Lake Michigan weekend

Wandering the beach looking for glass and rocks was wonderful! Campfires on the beach were amazing!! Even took advantage of the apple trees to bake ourselves a pie!

Quiet vacation

This place is exactly as advertised, is peaceful and quiet, has lots of amenities for outdoor use, incl kajacs and water toys, has a gas grill and even a picnic table if needed, lovely dining set on the patio and gorgeous views on the water. Wifi was cutting in and out, a tiny negative for a rainy day, enjoyed the peace & quiet to the fullest! Short 20 min drive into Eski for dinner or groceries, Water was provided for coffee maker since the house has well water and a smell to it, otherwise lots of gadgets in the kitchen incl spices. Nice plus is the provided towels and washer/dryer available, we would book this place again !!!

Great House Right on Lake Michigan

The house was clean and easy to find. Best feature was the large windows overlooking the lake just feet away. Is out of the way enough to be very quiet, but not too far from towns if you need to get something. Jeni was a great host and was very responsive and made the trip very relaxing. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Clean & cozy, beautiful sunsets

Property was very clean! We felt very welcomed into the home. Loved our stay & made some fun memories!! We found we did not need to bring anything with us (except groceries 😉) to make meals, well stocked kitchen. The dishwasher made it easy to clean up and get on with the fun! Plenty of relaxing space and outside chairs to sit & enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The beach was quiet and great spot for kids to swim. Great ice and firewood vendor right around the corner to support local business. You pass a well stocked convenient store on the way down the peninsula for any forgotten items. Definitely recommend this property!!

No water

I was notified a couple of days before we checked in that the well failed inspection. We were provided with bottled for drinking. The was no water pressure for showers etc. told the propert manager but there was no resolution. When we borrowed propane from the neighbor because our tank was empty we asked about the water. He told us he was worried about it because it was like that for several months. That’s a really crappy way to treat a guest.

Spectacular

Everything about this house was amazing. Extremely clean. I felt extremely welcomed. The view on the lake was breath taking. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.
