About this property
Shepherds Rest - Four bedroom home
Sparkling like a jewel in the Emerald green countryside, Shepherds Rest is four bedroom property that allows guests to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy spending time surrounded by patchwork fields, rolling hills, impressive mountains and blue skies. Sleeping up to eight guests, the property combines a pleasing mix of country cottage authenticity with contemporary style and a modern ambiance where guests can leave their everyday worries stress and simply relax amongst the stunning Kerry countryside.
Living area
The open plan living room combines a lounge area featuring a three-seater blue sofa, and wooden coffee table with a wooden dining table that allows seating for six. The wooden staircase and flooring all blends to create a rural cottage vibe that is both quaint and charming. There is a large screen TV attached to the wall so that guests can relax and watch their favourite shows after a lovely day of rambling through picturesque fields and pathways.
There is a second lounge room comprising of another three-seater sofa, this one in a tranquil shade of green, that sits opposite another wall mounted TV and faces a sturdy wooden coffee table. Ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from other guests.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is separate room to the living area and thanks to a colour palette of soothing light green, coffee and cream and the splashes of yellow sunflowers, it is a room that will put a smile on anyone’s face first thing in the morning as they switch on the kettle to make that cup of morning coffee. There is plenty of cupboard space and all the everyday essentials a guest could need including, dishwasher, microwave, hob, oven, kettle and toaster. From the two-seater wooden table guests can relax and drink in the stunning views of the Kerry countryside that shine from outside the kitchen window.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable king size bed and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a toilet, sink, and granite tiled spacious shower.
There is a second king size bedroom on this level with a sturdy wooden bedframe and matching bedroom furniture including a large tower of drawers, and bedside tables.
The third bedroom on this level includes a comfortable double bed and like the others, promotes a calming sleeping environment with its use of soft, egg-shell blue tones mixed with cream and white that lend focus to the wide bedroom windows with their incredible views.
The fourth bedroom is a converted attic space on the second floor offering two single beds and is an ideal space for children featuring an ensuite toilet and sink and skylight windows that give out on the beautiful scenery outside and provide a light airy ambiance within the bedroom.
Bathrooms
Aswell as the two ensuite bathrooms already mentioned there is also a separate toilet and shower on the ground floor.
