We had the absolute best time as usual. this property is our favorite place to stay in the Baldwin/luther region and we hope to be back for years to come thank you for the great memories
Came for a Memorial trip for our recently passed son with family and friends. Cabin was very clean, beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for our large group. Owners were very kind and communicated well with us. They thought of everything here. Game room, bonfire, grill, kitchen well stocked, chairs to relax on either the front or back decks, walking trail and even a cute stream that runs through. Perfect location for ORV riding! Enough room for 5 truck & trailers, extra cars and room to spare. Across the street from the gas station, trails and only a couple of miles away from restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!!
This was our fourth time staying at the Carrieville Cabin. We just love it here. We’re a group of four friends and we come up annually to kayak and hit the ORV trails. This is the perfect location for fun and relaxation. The property and cabin are well maintained, clean and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept and the host is very responsive and informative. 10/10 wood recommend!
This cabin is a top all time favorite of ours for many reasons. It's RIGHT around the corner from a gas station and the trails, super convenient for riders, plenty of parking for toys/haulers. The place is always very clean, most supplies you need are available in the kitchen, excellent decorations and the yard/fire pit never go unused also the mud room, this is a MUST to use during our visit, so many things to choose from to play!! Can't wait for our next visit here, many more to come!!
The property was everything we could have asked for. Plenty of space. The garage/mud room was a fantastic hang out spot. Would absolutely stay here again.
Place was amazing!! Every little detail the property owner thought of was truly outstanding!! We had so much fun riding the trails and spending the evenings by the fire! Also played a lot of darts and air hockey! We had so much fun! We look forward to returning next year!! A++++
Plenty of room for a small group with a nice mud room with games to keep everyone busy. And if thats not enough lounging in the backyard by the stream or fire will do. Would definately reccomend.
This was our third stay at the cabin and it was just as memorable as the first two. The cabin sits on a beautiful slice of land with a nice walking trail, a bubbling creek, firepit and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Host is friendly and accessible. Nearby ATV and ORV trails make off-roading quick and easy. We just love it here.
We had a great time at this cabin. It was very clean and has everything you need. Loved sitting by the fire and listening to the creek. The game room was a big hit and we really enjoyed all the entertainment. The trails were awesome and so convenient to ride right from driveway. Would highly recommend and we hope to return again!
What a great place! We loved the mud room. The property was wonderful including the peaceful babbling brook. It was a perfect holiday getaway for our group.
Gail was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
This cabin is now at the top of our favorite rental list for many reasons. It was super clean, anything you need was provided, the only thing we needed to bring was our food and clothes (and all the RZR gear of course)! The towels are top tier and plenty are provided along with an abundance of spices, utinsels, etc. which is a feature I greatly appreciate not having to pack!! Beds were very comfortable and the room locations/sizes were perfect for our group!
The cabin is secluded on a bubbling creek with a fire pit right at the creek and a cut path around the entire edge of the property which is great for nature walks.
With a gas staion/convenince store RIGHT around the corner we never had to leave for anything. Another bonus was the ATV trails are right across from said gas station, providing miles and miles of riding in every direction!!!
The mud room had ANY game you would ever wish to play and a nice TV as well to watch movies or games while enjoying a bonus play room at this cabin.
To top this great cabin/mud room off the decorations inside and out were very nice and well placed, there seriously was nothing that was not thought of at this cabin, it didn't feel like we were at a rental, we felt like we were at our up north home for a long weekend!!
Gail was easy to get ahold of to ask a couple of questions and super quick to respond!! We will definitely be booking this cabin again many times in the future, no expense was spared at this place & well worth it!!
Excellent property, lots of fun, well stocked with anything you forgot or need. Gail was very responsive and wonderful to work with.
Thanks and we will book again!
This is our second stay at this residence. One of the best places we stay so far for our annual Northern getaways. Easy to book and check in .Spacious sleeping areas for 12 adults. Bathrooms on all floors and even in garage too!! Love the scenic backyard with the little brook and fire pit.Great area to relax at night and watch the stars over a nice warm fire .The residence is only minutes away from many fishing rivers and state game areas. Gail always answers messages pretty fast if we have questions. Will be back soon again!!

About the host

My name is Mark Kilgore and I'm from Kalamazoo, Michigan. My family and I enjoy riding our ATVs, dirt bikes and snowmobiles around Luther and surrounding areas. I have been visiting this area for decades and have always enjoyed the simpler way of life Norther Michigan has to offer.
Why they chose this property
What's not to like? This area offers an abundance of wildlife and outdoor activities. You can do anything from hiking, hunting, off roading, kayaking / canoeing, to just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet.
What makes this property unique
This cabin sits close to state trails for quading, dirt biking, or snowmobiling. It is also in the thick of the major streams and rivers that have some of the best river fishing Michigan has to offer. Across the street is the Carrieville gas station for food, fuel, or beverages. The trailhead is directly across from the Carrieville gas station and the Tin Cup trail is just a few miles down the road that you can ride with your state compliant ORV.
