We had a wedding on Chappy and the house was perfect! It allowed for us - adult couple - to have a more private room/bath upstairs; younger adults and partners stayed in lower level bedrooms and that was ideal. Open area for hanging out was great and the kitchen was all we needed. What a great property!!
It was our first time staying on Chappy after being annual MV visitors for 25 years. The house was very open and spacious with lots of character. Plenty of outdoor space and convenient amenities in the house. There is a a/c unit on the main floor and though it took the edge off the very humid days it did get a little warm in the other areas of the house. It is a great spot to take walks to the beach and a short drive to both the ferry and beaches. Would recommend the house..
Our family had a wonderful time here. We come to MV every summer, but this is our first time staying on Chappaquiddick. The house is situated in a beautiful and secluded wooded area, and is just a short drive or bike ride from the beaches. The house is spacious with tons of amenities. We would stay here again!
This home is clean, comfortable and in a peaceful location. This was our first stay on Chappy and it won’t be our last. The home was so inviting and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It was roomy inside and we enjoyed the outside spaces as well. We enjoyed the beautiful beaches on Chapp and only ventured off Chappy a few times. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this property.
The house was a beautiful, light and airy, modern post and beam with surrounding gardens and yard, private and peaceful. Indoors at night, dinner by the fireplace was a favorite way to end the day. The variety of natural surroundings of Chappy in October are stunning—beaches, wetlands, woods, fields and gardens. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you
The perfect mix of beach house and elegance. From the fresh herbs in the garden to the amazing shower in the master bedroom this property is simply amazing. The outdoor shower was my son’s absolute favorite feature!
Check in was as easy as could be. The house is nicely designed and well kept. The main room with post and beam construction has a warm and open feeling. We all enjoyed spending time there. The kitchen is well supplied. The enclosed outdoor shower was a plus on warm days. Chappy was peaceful and beautiful and we hope to go again.
This home was awesome, we loved staying here!! The architecture is beautiful with the beams and huge windows and great fireplace. Loved the kitchen and all it offered. We especially loved eating outside in the well designed dining area.
We have stayed at many places at Chappy and on MV and we just loved it here!!
We brought fans since no A/C so come prepared.
The house is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The home is smartly designed, and has ample space for families to spread out and relax. The indoor and outdoor spaces have all you need and more to unwind and just *be* on Chappy. Susan was a warm and helpful host, too!
What a beautiful tranquil place place - we came in March -our first trip in over a year - the exposed beams are so awe inspiring , with lots of sun drying the day- we took advantage of the trails out back and saw 2 white tailed dear ! Kids loved the back yard and lunches on the sunny patio - beautiful stars at night that could be seen even from the inside - hope we can come back again!
The house matches the charm and beauty of Chappy. I have the same mechanical room so never an issue with hot water. :) Solved a lot of the worlds problems at the outdoor dinning room table! When the wine was gone and the next day arrived - just wish we had taken minutes. Cheers ! Great time had by all.
This house is literally gorgeous. Brand new construction, with top-of-the-line appliances and a dramatic open architecture with wood beams and cathedral ceilings. It is strategically placed in a very secluded area, surrounded by trees, at biking distance from the main (and breathtaking) beaches of Chappaquiddick: Wasque Point and East Beach. The owner of the house is very nice and gave me all the information I needed beforehand. Please beware there is no air conditioning, but that's not a big issue because you can open the windows (at night too) and a gentle breeze will pervade the whole house. If you are looking for a paradisiac vacation in beautiful Chappy, I can't imagine a better home for you.
We had an amazing vacation at this house. We were 2 families and there was plenty of room for people to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked. We even used the fireplace on one of the cooler foggy nights. Beaches in the area are gorgeous! Loved being away from it all but knowing that Edgartown was just a short ferry ride away.

Beautiful Home
We really enjoyed our stay here. We've been vacationing on Chappy for decades and this is definitely one of the nicer homes we've stayed in. Loved the outdoor shower. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen space was perfect for the family gatherings we had. I have only a few recommendations: 1. the screen doors will "get you" as they close extremely quickly, and 2. fans--more fans are a must. It was very, very hot during our weeks and there needed to be some airflow. Also, we used the pull out couch, but the sheets provided were not a very good fit and there was only the one option available. But none of these things took away from the magic that is Chappy! We loved having this beautiful home as our base and would most definitely stay here again!

Excellent Chappy location. Beautiful home.
Truly a beautiful home. Well constructed and unique architecture. Fully equipped kitchen. Wonderful beaches very close by.
One issue to be aware of... House has no air conditioning. This seemed to be a drawback at first, and in fact was an issue on one very hot day. But otherwise, our group acclimated to this, and ended up enjoying the open windows and the sea breezes.

Chappy Rules!
I had never been to Marthas Vineyard before so, I didn't know what to expect or where to stay. I based my decision solely on the pictures of the beautiful post and beam architecture.
Turns out, I made the right choice. Chappaquiddick is amazing. It is so secluded you have to take a little baby ferry over called the "on time III".
I rented this place for my bachelor weekend. It was pretty neat driving to the ferry and then going to walk around in Edgartown. Admittedly, we were out seeking "Jaws" landmarks so that was pretty fun, stumbling across them.
Anyways, the house was perfect. I got the master bedroom. I'm 6' tall so I really appreciated that nice high shower head. We didn't use the fireplace but masonry around the hearth was very cool. There is also 2 secret stained glass windows in the great room that I didn't notice till the last day. I also appreciated the original watercolors around the house as well as the prints. Very good taste!
Highly recommend. Chappy rules.
p.s. drive around and check out the nature preserve on the north end. stunning.
