2nd Row Duplex

Welcome to Sunset Dream East - This bright, beautiful, clean home has panoramic ocean views from the main living area. This home has a reverse floor plan with the living room, fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed, and full bathroom on the top (3rd) floor. The bright living room has generous views, plenty of seating, a 42" flat screen television complete with cable, a blue-ray dvd player, and stereo. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There are a wide variety of cooking utensils, small appliances, spices, and cookware.

The second floor has 3 additional bedrooms. The master bedroom is ocean-side and has a king bed along with an en suite bathroom (including a double vanity, jetted tub, and walk-in shower), and two closets. This bedroom also has a sliding glass door which opens to a second deck. The second and third bedrooms are on this floor as well. The second bedroom has one queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. In addition, there is a second full bathroom on this floor.

Our home has high-speed internet and each bedroom has a flat screen television, cable, and a dvd player. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan.

The public beach access is conveniently located right across the street. There are beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys available for your use. There is also an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower.

Located approximately 3 miles from town, our home is convenient to restaurants, shops, and Bogue Inlet Pier.

Linens are included with your stay. Absolutely no smoking or illegal drug use anywhere on the property.

Up to 2 dogs allowed. Pets must be kept off all furniture and bedding.

Insurance liability restricts the following breeds of dog: German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Wolf hybrids & other aggressive breeds.
Sorry, strictly NO CATS. We have severe allergy to cats.

PLEASE NOTE - Our property is only available through VRBO and their affiliates. We do not rent through Craigslist, Facebook, or other social media outlets.

The opposite side of the duplex may be available for extended family. The VRBO property ID# is 1406255. Please note the adjoining unit has different owner.

Property and hosting are commendable. The location is convenient to the beach, great view, yard and amenities. All is as advertised and this is a great value proposition. Within 30 minutes of settling in, all of us agreed that it was a shame we were not staying more than 3 nights. There were even talks about coming back next year. My only critiques would be the check in/out times and the directions had a typo. The address provided was correct but somehow two of the four numbers got swapped in the directions. So one of our vehicles ended up going and extra block or two. Not a big deal. 5pm check in and 10am check out is a little extreme. Given how clean the house was I can accept it but having to be out of the property by 10am and not being able to leave the dishwasher running or clean added just that little bit of stress to have everything cleaned, dried and put away. So it wasn't the best way to end to a relaxing stay but still 5 stars imo. Highly recommend

Spring Beach Getaway

Wonderful property, just as described. Perfect for a group of friends or family with ample parking. Easy access to beach, just a very stroll. Nice dog walking neighborhood and close to anything in Emerald Isle. Highly recommend this home for a beach escape.

Nice late summer getaway

Property is very well maintained. Nice ocean view from the upper deck for a 2nd row. Public beach access is just 1 property over. Outdoor shower and hose is really convenient when returning from beach. We enjoyed having our golden retriever with us, which was the first time we ever brought a pet on vacation. Walks with the dog on the beach or along Ocean Drive were really nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice stay

Property was clean with the exception of some pet hair but knowing the home is pet friendly that is to be expected. Kitchen was all very well stocked and included linens are nice to have as well. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues at all with anything.
