Very comfortable beds, the floors could use a mopping. There was no soap for dishwasher. Hand washed everything. Overall it was a very nice place. I hate to see cleaning companies taking advantage of people.
We went to this cabin to get out of the heat in Florida and I can tell you it was wonderful. Cabin was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot. Hope to go back next year.

Loved It
Loved the homey feel. house was set up great. Thanks so much allowing us to stay in your home
Cabin was in a great location with easy access to the main road. Very pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the cabin. Was the perfect stay for 4 adults with all one level, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, met our expectations. Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.
We loved the cabin. It was clean, decorated very cozy and well stocked. The attention to detail the owner has provided is wonderful. The cul-de-sac the cabin is located in is just precious, very peaceful. Stephanie is a great host and very easy to communicate with. Very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the area is quaint with great restaurants and beautiful scenery.
We wanted to get away for a couple of days and ride and look at the mountains and the rhododendrons… It was such a pleasant trip! Even though it was rainy and overcast, we still enjoyed everything and there being coolness in the air. We enjoyed being out during the day, visiting on the porches in the afternoon, and watching good movies on a good TV at night! Will keep this on our list for when we return!
Beautiful location. Cottage is exactly as described. Spotless. Great amenities. Owner prompt on communications. We loved the convenience to Blue Ridge Mountains for hiking and closeness to Waynesville. Would definitely stay here again.
The location and accommodation was great. The cabin was cute, clean and stocked with all necessary items (pots, pans, etc) . The communication with the owner was prompt, pleasant and easy. The unit sits on a hill back against SoCO Rd. so you may experience some traffic noise but ONLY IF when the sliding glass door/windows are open during high traffic times.
Met my BIL from Florida there for to cheer on a friend who was racing the vintage bike cannonball run as they came through Maggie Valley for a stop at Wheels through time.
This rental place was very nice, clean, and well managed. Not one issue with anything other than the little speed bumps in the neighborhood are tough for motorcycles, but understandable. Anything I was wondering about was available in the book the owners have there. I was wondering how to operate the front load washer as we loaded it with our towels as we left and there on the fridge was a how-to note! :) (I've always had top loaders)
Parking is limited but wasn't an issue for two motorcycles. The gazebo is amazing in the center of the grassed area in front of the house. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening with a brew. Would definitely stay here again.
This cabin home is located on a lovely circle of similar syle homes. The entire area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Relaxing on either the front porch or back deck are both great ways to begin or end the day.
Comfortable seating in the living area to watch TV or take a nap. The kitchen has all of the dishes you will need for meal prep and a dishwasher for clean-up!
Beds are very comfortable and we appreciated having plenty of empty drawer and closet space. Two bathrooms is a bonus! Rooms at night are quiet, with good window coverings that block outside light. Night lights are in the bathroom and hall for those mid-night trips.
We enjoyed watching a chick-a-dee in the tree just off the back deck. Near the end of our stay, we discovered a nest was in the decorative bird house that adorns the patio table on the deck.
We made breakfast and prepared a lunch before heading out for a day of hiking or sightseeing. We cooked at the cabin a couple of nights, but also took advantage of the great variety of options for eating out; both in Maggie Valley and in nearby Waynesville.
All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at Maggie Valley.
We grew up in Clearwater, Florida and used this family cabin for respite from the Florida heat. 25 years ago, our family moved to Houston TX and quit visiting visiting Maggie because of family and job responsibilities at home. We retired 4 years ago and have spent several weeks each summer since then revisiting the area, enjoying the area and updating the cabin. We are devoted to our granddaughter and church in Texas but someday we might make the leap and relocate full-time.
Why they chose this property
The cabin is comfortable, clean, and recently updated. The location is accessible in all kinds of weather and in a friendly quiet and safe community. We love it there and think you will too.
