This bright modern cottage is nestled among trees on gorgeous Lookout Mountain with views of the downtown city lights from the deck. Its beautiful design will invite you to want to come back for every special occasion. Come bring your sweetheart to Blue Ivy, it's perfect.

The cottage property backs up to a 3000 acre National Military Park, and it is within walking distance to some of the best hiking trails in the southeast. This home provides a perfect getaway for couples or small families.

Blue Ivy has one bedroom with a cozy queen bed and storage space for your luggage or a pack n play.
The bathroom is located off the bedroom and has a bathtub and shower combo. The bedroom has a door for privacy from the living and dining area. The TV is located across from the sofa. It's a smart TV that you can sign into any of your own personal streaming accounts or use ours. An antennae is located behind the TV for local channels. We do not have cable. The sofa is a sleeper sofa, It folds out to accommodate two extra guests.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. It has a full sized stove and refrigerator, a small microwave, a drip coffee maker and a toaster.

Blue Ivy is not pet friendly. We are not insured to accommodate pets. Please inquire about our awesome recommended pet sitter 5 minutes away from Blue Ivy!

Dreamy cabin in the woods

My husband and I stayed here for a short escape from work. We loved it. The house is cozy, the art is great, the grounds are private yet close to everything you could want or need. :) 10/10 recommend!

Location was great, cottage could use some landscaping, bathroom toilet need some work, coffee pot still had a used filter with old coffee in it and the coffee pot was not clean. Other than that a nice quiet hideaway for two.

Chattanooga, lookout mountain

The home was small as shown in pictures. The floor in the bathroom has a big downward slope. My family became off balance when walking in there at night with the nights off. The coffee maker didn’t work when we got there for our first morning but the owner was quick to have one delivered. Other than the bathroom the home was nice.

Cute and convenient!

Absolutely wonderful cottage! Everything we needed and so clean and cute. We wanted to do all the things offered at Lookout Mountain and loved being able to easily go "back home" between things. My daughter and I both took turns sleeping on the pull out couch/bed. Had a couple little questions for the manager/owner and she was awesome about getting back to me with answers. I would recommend this vrbo and this owner/manager. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Mountain getaway

Property was in a good location. I was cute and very clean. Owners have a nice book with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Enjoyed being able to have a fire in the fire pit on the back and the privacy.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

We stayed while our daughter moved into college. Hiked all the nearby trails and felt as close to nature as we ever have. Host is first rate as was the house.

Cozy cabin in great location

We had the best little getaway at Blue Ivy! Super clean, cozy cottage that is really close to all things Chattanooga. We loved the notebook of recommended restaurants, things to do, etc. What an unexpected treat to hike down to Sunset Rock for a gorgeous sunset. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Ivy. Kitchen was well equipped and deck is nice seating area. Coffee maker and coffee was provided! Bed is comfortable. Nice walk up the road to hiking trails. Would definitely return!

Picture perfect!

Really enjoyed our stay. With so much to do outdoors this house had the perfect amount of space for my husband, teenage son and I. The house binder had a lot of really useful tips and suggestions. Can’t wait to come back to check out a few sites we didn’t have time for. Sunset peak was well worth the winding narrow drive up the mountain. Blue Ivy was overall the perfect host for a very memorable trip for my family.

Cozy Cabin in a Perfect Location

We really enjoyed this cabin! It is tucked in the mountain and centrally located to everything, whether you want to go back into town or visit all the attractions on the mountain. It’s a short drive or hike to Craven’s house for a sunrise or a sunset at Sunset Rock. It’s a short drive to Ruby Falls, Point Park, Incline Railway or Rock City. This cabin is clean and fully stocked with everything if you want to just relax there and enjoy the fire pit and views. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

comfortable for two and well provisioned for guests

We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was rainy and overcast almost the entire time . the cottage is very well prepared for visitors...wife loved the decor and thoughtful touches, nice towels and comfy bed... perfect size for a couple. we would have enjoyed the deck, but the weather did not cooperate. Access to downtown is an easy 10-15 mins away including a nice Publix grocery at the foot of the mountain.

Cute cottage on the mountain

My husband & I recently stayed at Blue Ivy, four nights. It looks exactly like pictures in VRBO. Small living area, right next to kitchen which has small table . Bedroom right off living area . Cute decor. Check in was easy, communication with property manager was quick & efficient. It is located on Lookout MTN. Just a few minutes trip to downtown Chattanooga. Nice sitting area on front porch as well as deck off kitchen. Unfortunately we did not get to use fire pit. It is on small road, with neighbors but was very quiet while we were there. Do wish it had laundry facilities, but knew it didn't. Did spend some vacation time at a laundromat in Chattanooga. Cottage is very close to Ruby Falls & Rock City & other attractions in Lookout Mountain. Nice cottage for short stay

Girls get away

We had a girls getaway. It included hiking and yoga at a Lula Lake. We enjoyed Sunset Ridge, as well as hiking in the areas around Blue Ivy. The cabin was adorable! All the ladies loved the Decour! We also had an amazing time, laughing by the fire pit! It was medicine for our souls!

Cute cabin in great location!

The cabin’s location cannot be beat! Hiked up to Point Park and short drives to many sites. My son loved sitting on the rock outside and looking out. We could see the city lights from the patio. Lovely decor and vibe! Host was helpful with questions too!
