How about 100 feet on the beautiful Toccoa River, so close you can hear the sound of the rapids. New luxury 1,900 square foot cabin, spacious open floor plan for family gatherings, large family room with vaulted ceiling, beautiful fireplace with gas logs, and built in giant 65 inch flat screen TV.

Two bedrooms with king-sized beds and one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Upstairs loft/game room with two twin beds , eat-in kitchen with bar stools for casual eating or the dining room table your choice. 1,020 square feet of outside covered living space with a large picnic table, hot tub and gas bar-b-q are on the open deck all facing the beautiful Toccoa river.

A fire pit offers great atmosphere for outside evening gatherings. The cabin is also wheel chair accessible. The property is on a gravel road leading to this pristine riverfront location. If you enjoy trout fishing, Fannin County is the Trout Capital of GA. If you enjoy kayaking or tubing it's all located just out your back door.

Fun Birthday Weekend

Beautiful property. Loved all the swings next to the river. Peaceful and serene. Every person that stayed with us said 10 out of 10 would rent again. Our only complaint was there was not enough toilet paper in all the bathrooms, luckily we brought extra or we would have been SOL literally, other than that, loved it!

Blue Ridge Family Vacay

This was our second trip to this cabin. We loved it so much last year we that we chose it again for our trip this year. A unique feature is that we road the BR Scenic railroad which goes right by the cabin. We got to wave to all the passengers from our front porch but also got to see the cabin while riding the train. Very cool. The outdoor spaces are fantastic and the views of the Toccoa river are beautiful. Very peaceful.

Beyond beautiful

We got married this past weekend on the patio right next to the water. Just us and our adult children. Then had a private chef make us dinner. The river, cabin and surrounding trees was all the decoration needed. Great thought and care was put into making this place special. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud with the sliding glass door letting the fall breeze and sound of the river into the bedroom. It was wonderful!

Perfect Vacation

We had the best stay! The home and property were amazing. I didn’t think it could be better in person, but it was. We were 7 adults enjoying a kid free long weekend, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The hosts were so attentive and answered any questions we had quickly. The home was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My husband and I are already planning our return this summer with our children. Thanks for having us in your beautiful home!

All main level excellent for olders and disabled

Finding three BR/BA all on the main level is incredibly rare; finding that in such a lovely location and nice house is amazing. Two of our group are cane-dependent and the house worked out very well for them; one was able to make it down to the swings and the other was not quite so confident. We were very pleased and happy with our choice.

Another fabulous vacation!

This was our third time staying in this fabulous home on the Toccoa river. Georgette and Justine are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Upon arriving on a hot afternoon it was so nice to find a large drink pitcher filled with ice cold, lemon infused water on the island in the kitchen! It was so lovely sitting by the river in the swings relaxing to enjoy coffee in the morning or reading a book for the afternoon. Or just to enjoy the sights and sounds by the river. Some of the wildlife we saw were lots of deer and tons of fawns this year! There was a family of otters that were fun to watch as they swam up and down the river or played on the bank on the other side. The Kingfisher visited each morning and evening to fish. Some of our family enjoyed hours of tubing the river. We always bring our own tubes but you can rent them from a number of vendors in the area. The cabin is well equipped with anything you'll need in the kitchen including a large selection of spices. Also offered are towels to use after playing in the river. If you enjoy fishing be sure to bring your gear as you can walk right out in the river to catch dinner! Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas have tons to offer for things to do. We look forward to visiting next year!

Great vacation at Hooked on the Toccoa

The house was spotless. It had everything we needed, including cooking staples like spices. The river is beautiful. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the stone patio by the river, nice and shaded! The hot tub was spotless! Outside they had corn hole, horseshoes, and darts. Inside they have a poker table that 6 of us sat at comfortably. Beds were comfy, towels were like new. The owners are local which helps if there is ever an urgent need. We will be back!

Peaceful tranquility

This place is so beautiful, quiet, and peaceful and the owners are very nice and eager to help if you need anything and easy to communicate with. One can easily be drawn in by the rushing waters of the Toccoa and not even want to leave the property to go do anything else.

Beautiful place on the Toccoa River

This is our second stay at this VRBO. Our family likes to fly fish and this is a great location for that activity. There are a lot of fun activities for all guests while staying here. There is an outdoor dart board, cornhole boards and a magnetic tic tac toe board on the porch. This house also has a wonderful covered porch that faces the river, a firepit area, lovely grilling area with hot tub and my favorite was the swings underneath a canopy of trees that sit by the river! We used the outdoor spaces most of our stay there. It is beautiful and peaceful.

The Perfect Cabin

We were looking to stay in blue ridge to kayak the Toccoa river. But due to the location of the cabin, I was hesitant about booking so far down the river. The pictures can not capture the true beauty of the outdoor living and cabin. We had fresh lemon/cucumber water prepared upon check in. The outdoor swings by the river, wading the river to fish and overall sounds of nature. We put in with blue ridge kayaking outfitters(about 20 minutes drive). We floated the 6 miles trip and take out was right past the golf course. The dam must released to kayak by the cabin and the 12 mile trip would be an option. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Getaway

You can’t ask for a better location on the Toccoa river- beautiful! The cabin has great outdoor seating options to enjoy the surroundings. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. Only takes about 15-20 minutes to get to downtown Blue Ridge!

Amazing Experience - WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE!!!

We had the most amazing time at this cabin. My sister is in a power wheelchair so we were looking for a place that was accessible to her, a great location, and a good fit for my three year old son as well. As you can imagine, it is very difficult finding an accessible rental, let alone a beautiful one in a great location. I couldn’t believe it when I found this listing online and that it was available for Christmas. When we arrived the whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A huge Christmas tree, stockings, lights; it was so beautiful. The rooms were cozy with great bathrooms, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the outdoor porch and water area was so peaceful. Wheelchair Access - for anyone looking to travel with a wheelchair here are some tips : - The driveway is gravel but my sister had no issues driving her power wheelchair over it - The ramp is on the side of the house and goes up to the back pouch and is in very good condition - There is about a 2-3 inch threshold at the back door. We did bring a little travel ramp with us for this reason. My sister would not have been able to get her power chair in the house without us bringing that ramp so keep that in mind - The bathroom in the master bedroom is large and easily fit a wheelchair but there is a threshold so it is not a roll in shower - There is no ramp to the backyard so you would need to go from the front and drive on dirt and rocks to get around but the porch was perfect

Wonderful Experience

My wife and I have stayed in over a dozen cabins throughout the years ranging from Tennessee, NC and Georgia. We both agreed a few minutes after walking into this cabin, that this cabin was our favorite and matched most what we look for in a cabin. Starting with the drive up, the cabin was very easy to get to with GPS navigation and no crazy inclines or hairpin turns. Once arriving at the cabin, it is in a very quiet and secluded location with the exception of the Blue Ridge scenic train that runs by maybe twice a day. Walking into the cabin, you can immediately recognize this is a newer construction cabin (less than 5 years old) and the floor plan is well thought out. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom and the kitchen, dining and living room are all open to one another. The fireplace is fantastic and kicks out some amazing heat in the winter. The cabin has WiFi for internet connected TV’s and allows you to keep tabs on work/ personal stuff back home if needed. Walking out onto the back deck, you are greeted with a relaxing and welcoming view of the back yard with pergola structure right on the Toccoa River. There is also a good sized fire pit for in the backyard for your use. Lastly, one of the best things about this cabin is the responsiveness of the owner. Justine (the owner) was great with communications from us even leaving for the cabin to make sure we had what was needed, to answering any questions we had while there. Lastly, she lives right next door.

Beautiful weekend getaway

This was a weekend girls trip. There were 6 of us and the cabin couldn't have been more perfect. Plenty of seating on the back porch overlooking the river. The loft beds were a little small for adults' but still everone was comfortable. We enjoyed being close to the Blue Ridge Scenic train station as well as the many restaurants located in town.
