We had a delightful and relaxing stay at this charming cottage, which truly captures the essence of lakeside tranquility. I highly recommend this hidden gem for family getaways. The fire pit next to the horseshoe game, set against a sandy backdrop, provides a perfect setting for quality family time.
The property felt secluded even though there were neighboring homes nearby. It was quiet and peaceful, lending itself to a very relaxing stay. The home was clean and well maintained and had everything needed for an enjoyable time. The welcome package was detailed and offered lots of information regarding the surrounding area. The beachfront was clean and the lake, beautiful.
Cute lake cabin situated on the lake .
We came for the Fryeburg Fair and only for the weekend . Unfortunately was not able to enjoy the area but will hit Bridgeton downtown on the way home . Everything was great . I would only prefer a noon check out not 10:00am that’s it 😂
The house was nice for the seven of us and the location on the lake was fantastic. It is nestled in the woods but just a mile walk to a grocery store and downtown area.
Super easy to launch boat—boat launch almost next door! Very comfy and quiet. Close to Bridgton.

Great Place!
Clean and comfortable. Very close to town and a 1 minute walk to the private bea h and dock. Owners are very helpful and live next door. Best deal on the lake!
Spent the weekend for a father son getaway. Water access from the house was great. Really quick ride (< 5 mins) to downtown Bridgeton so we could pop down to a restaurant or bar. Maureen and Bill were friendly, welcoming and gracious hosts. Would stay here again, it was everything we were looking for.
Stayed for a couple days. Just wanted to be close to Shawnee Peak. Property would have been great if I wanted to go snowmobiling as well. Perfect place to park a truck and trailer.
The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Furnished simply and clean. Hosts were helpful, hospitable, and friendly. Nice to have view of the lake from the house and the dock was perfect for our boat. Thank you!
Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Perfect small beach and dock area where my kids loved swimming and catching fish.
Maureen & Bill were helpful with info about the lake and the area. This place is a 5 min drive from downtown Bridgton which made it easy to get groceries, go to Rennys and there are several good restaurants close by as well.
Definitely a prime family vacation spot!

Nice Getaway
4 of us stayed at this cabin. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 4 adults. We had 2 boats for a fishing trip and spent time on Long Lake as well as other lakes in the area. The boat launch was very close by the cabin and there is plenty of area to park your trailers on the property. There is a nice grille and deck overlooking Long Lake which was great for cooking out. We enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely stay here again.
Although we didn’t use any of the attractions—lake, shopping in the cute town of Bridgton, it would have been fun. We were up for our grandson’s wedding. The one suggestion we would make is for the owners to add a dishwasher. Since the tenants are asked to clean, strip beds, etc (despite a hefty cleaning fee that is charged), it would be helpful if there was a dishwasher. Fortunately we only had a couple of glasses a cups to handwash. The owners were vert pleasant and allowed us to check in early. We would recommend this house to others!
Check in was easy (via lock box), the cottage was clean and updated. The kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks and SUP were fun, we paddled to the sandbar everyday. We also saw the bald eagles every day. The lake water was still warm. Although the cottage is quiet,, downtown Bridgton is minutes away. We also hiked Bald Pate mountain and canoed the Saco River. The cottage is highly recommended!
Very comfortable and clean. Short walk to the dock. Kayaks provided as well as nice firepit area. Large deck. Property is on a large lot with lots of trees. Very well stocked and cared for. Close to town, but has feel of being in the woods. Owners are very responsive and friendly. IDEAL for a family or multigenerational group
This property was the perfect getaway for our family of 8! We loved the dock and spent our days kayaking and enjoying the beautiful views. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and it was a great home away from home. Bill and Maureen were quick to respond with a question we had, and Maureen also introduced herself at the beginning of our stay. We would love to come back to spend a week on the lake again. Thank you for sharing your home so we could get a taste of lake life!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!
We stayed here while we attended a wedding in Harrison and absolutely loved the place. Maureen really thought of everyting and was so sweet to have coffee, tee and coco available for us. It was just my husband and I plus a friend of ours but this place would be perfect for families as well as adults only. All of the water toys (and there were many) were available to use - it was a little chilly while we were there but one in our party (the brave/crazy one) actually swam and I was able to kayak around a bit. The place was impeccably clean and nicely appointed. Stay here - you will love it too!
Mauren and Bill's place on Long Lake is the perfect place to get away. We went with our two teenage kids and enjoyed a week of relaxation in the well-equipped house, on the beach by the lake, on the dock (that has a fantastic view of the lake with a perfect angle for watching the sunrise) and on the water. Complete with several kayaks and a canoe, Maureen and Bill provide everything you need to enjoy the lake experience.
Maureen and Bill were super friendly, accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. Bridgton is a cute little town with some fun places to eat (Beth's, Nectar, The Gazebo, etc.), and Naples is only a little more than 10 minutes away.
Stay at this place and you can't go wrong.
Everything from the initial booking was perfect! The owners communicated with me right from the start answering lots of questions i had about water access, boat mooring etc. This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 6!! Plus 2 on a night my parents came to visit! There is a short 200ft walk to a private sandy beach only shared with the property owners. The house was clean and well equipped. You dont need to bring anything. It was nice to have a private bathroom away from all the kids. The cove the house is on is super quiet and close enough to a sandbar you can easily kayak to it. We had an incredible stay and have already booked it for next year! Cant wait to get back! Thanks from Travis, Stephanie and all our kids!!!
