One of our most favorite VRBO's to date. The pictures don't to it justice.
Our host Susan, was amazing at giving us things to do and places to go. All of her recommendations were top notch. And the house and property is sooooo cute, the pix don't do it justice. It's a quick 10 minute walk to downtown Whitefish, we walked to dinner every night. The house is in this cute little neighborhood with a awesome front deck. We walked to the public beach on Whitefish Lake and it was 35 minutes to Glacier National Park as well. The house was well stocked and so homey! We had a fantastic time! Thank you Susan!!!
There aren't many places where you feel you are in the mountains (great views from the deck) yet you can walk to town and are just a block from the Safeway. You really don't feel like you are in the city. Grandkids loved the tether ball, the yard, and access to the river where they tubed. We hiked in Glacier (half hour from the entrance), enjoyed the Tuesday Farmer's Market, the rodeo at the Blue Moon and Huckleberry Days just to name just a few of the activities in Whitefish and surrounding area. The location and amenities in the house couldn't have been better,. House is well stocked and we took advantage of the grill. This was our third summer in Whitefish and we would definitely stay here again.
Very nice and cozy place. Loved the mountain decor
We had a great time! Would consider coming back. A lot of deer and turkeys… our own petting zoo🤣
Owners love their property and appreciate the respect if you rent it. A++
We had a great time in Whitefish, MT! We were traveling with my family and 2 young children (ages 4 and 2). The large fenced in yard and playhouse were perfect for the kids. It was also close to a nearby park and a paved trail along the Whitefish River, which was very nice!
Our ski group had a wonderful time at the cabin! We were a short walk to the SNOW Bus stop to get to the mountain, as well as a 10 minute walk to get to downtown to visit the bars, restaurants, and shopping available there! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at the property again next time we visit Whitefish!
Susan's home was a great place to spend our honeymoon. We got married in Glacier and explored the area with ease from her home in Whitefish. It's a ten minute walk to most everything you could want or need, and a short drive to the West entrance of Glacier. We also went mountain biking at Big Mountain and the whole experience was great. The place felt like home and the fireplace and hot tub were excellent for relaxing after long days. We are already talking about returning with friends to see the area in the winter. Susan was great with communication and we can wait to plan our next visit with her.
Susan had everything in order as listed!!. Many cozy spots, both inside and out, for family members to have private conversations or larger family activities and discussions. Kitchen and baths generously stocked and clean! It truly is easy walking to downtown Whitefish, and a close, easy drive to airport, Glacier and Kalispell. What a delight!!!
Wonderful cabin with lots of character and great location close to town. Safeway grocery store is 2 minutes away but the cabin still feels tucked away up on a little hill. Great owner, everything was smooth. Can comfortably sleep 8, stretch to 10 or 11 but it would be tight. Great for a family.

Why they chose this property
As a child, I always knew I wanted to own a log cabin. My love for the outdoors was always clear at an early age. I came to Whitefish for the first time in the summer of 2017 with my son to go fly fishing. From the minute we entered the quaint town surrounded by the most exquisite scenery I knew that I had found my place. Ironically, I spotted our cabin that we would end up buying the same day perched on the hill for sale. I fell in love with the historical charm of the stone fireplace that takes over the whole living room with its beauty. Looking out of all the upstairs windows you can watch the tall trees dance in the wind and all the knotty pine though out the home was just what I had imagined it to be when I was a child. An actual ski lift chair from The Whitefish Mountain, a place to relax and read a book or view the surrounding mountains is very cool. It is a place to bring the family together and be cozy whether sitting in front of the fire in the living room or on the front deck playing scrabble and barbecuing. The grassy yard in the front of the house is also great for playing games and kids find it fun as well. This is the perfect cabin. Simple, historical, warm and cozy!
