We spent a wonderful week here as a family. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family could need. The beach is very close, as advertised, and the location as a whole is just fantastic for exploring Normandy. Central for areas of interest but comfortable and quiet for a relaxed evening, we would definitely like to visit again.

Comfortable House In A Prime Location
The house is set along a quiet road looking out onto peaceful countryside. It is airy and light, well furnished, with all modern conveniences, including a secure garage. There was plenty of storage for our personal property, and the house was secure, spotlessly clean and our hosts were very friendly, meeting us on arrival, and guiding us around the property - giving us useful information about both the property and the surrounding area. The sea and a fabulous beach was a five minute stroll away, and we were able to walk to and from both Arromanches and Asnelles several times. Bayeux is twenty minutes away, and Paris (via the train), just over 2 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would be delighted to recommend both it, and M and Mme Francoise, to other potential guests.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, nice communication and welcome from host. Perfect location, easy to walk to beach, town and historical monuments, and to access supermarkets and Bayeux by car. We had a wonderful time.

Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen
Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnstraße. Der weitläufige Strand ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen aber auch für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Wonderful property and great location
We were met at the property by Roland and his wife. They were both very friendly and welcoming. They explained various features of the house and gave us advice on the best locations for supermarkets and bread shops. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful. The property has excellent views of countryside from the rear patio. There is a short walk down into Arromanches. The path is a steep hill but the views of the bay and the remains of the Mulberry harbour make it worthwhile. We had a wonderful week with many pre-breakfast walks along the beach to Asnelles, stopping for a coffee and pastry on the way back.

Great property in Normandy
Extremely pleasant hosts, v comfortable property, v clean and all the amenities you could possibly need. Super location for visiting the beaches and museums relating to DDay which was the purpose of our visit. Lovely garden with great views. V quiet and peaceful location and few minutes from a sandy beach. At low tide, a great walk along the beach to Arromanches-les-Bains. We highly recommend this property.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à ST COME DE FRESNE. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires qui nous ont laissé une totale liberté dans le gîte. En ce qui concerne le gîte, rien à redire tout était parfait (propreté des lieux, fonctionnalité, calme). Super bien placé, près des commodités (commerces), des sites à visiter, et de la plage où nous pouvions nous rendre à pied. Sans nul doute que nous y retournerons car c'est un séjour très positif.

Tolles Haus in Strandnähe
Wir hatten einen schönen 14tägigen Aufenthalt in den Sommerferien. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Da das Wetter gut war, konnten wir den Strand, aber auch die Terrasse des Hauses umfangreich nutzen. Einige größere Städte wie Bayeux oder Caen liegen auch in der Nähe, so dass bei schlechterem Wetter weitere Möglichkeiten bestehen. Kurzum: tolle Ferien in einem tollen Haus.

Sehr komfortable Unterkunft!
Bemerkenswert sauber, Küche komplett ausgestattet, alles funktioniert! Für Ruhe Suchende, die sich mit der Landungsgeschichte im 2. Weltkrieg auseinandersetzen wollen, eine perfekte Ausgangsstation - alles in der Nähe: Empfehlenswert Arromanches (Musée und Kino), Caen (Memorial Museum), Omaha Beach (amerikanischer Friedhof) und Bayeux. Das Meer liegt für Strandspaziergänge 5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt!

Die Fotos passen genau zu dem Objekt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Vermieter sehr nett, alles in der Beschreibung passt. Was sehr schön war, dass genug Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden war, so dass man nicht jeden Tag den Spüler anstellen muss.

Logement de grande qualité et idéalement situé pour découvrir la région et les plages du débarquement en particulier Beaucoup de choses à découvrir et de belles balades à faire.
