Reviewer Comments:
Being evacuees from Hurricane Ida, we stayed at the resort for two weeks and reserved 3 different units. 2 out of the 3 villas were not fully restored from last year’s storm damage. We were charged full, high season rates despite the dishwasher not connected, cold water faucet in shower not connected preventing taking a shower or bath, refrigerator ice maker broken, 5 dishes were in kitchen cabinet unwashed and covered with old food and mold, there was a used, baby’s swim diaper lying in the garden out front door. The kitchen had only 2 forks, and 2 coffee mugs. Rental agency closed down midweek for two days during rainy weather and did not return any calls. Finally called emergency number, connected to voicemail, left message, and still no one returned my call. In the second villa we moved to, the washing machine was not connected so washing clothes was not an option, and a cabinet in the bathroom was unfinished, leaving a big hole. Upon checking out, I was treated extremely rudely by PKRM employee “Kim” who is completely lacking in customer service skills, and could not have been anymore discourteous, bordering on insulting. Avoid any contact with her, and deal with one of the other agents who are more helpful and professional. Be warned, the photos of the villas showing on the website are old photos from pre-storm damage. This realty company is renting villas that are still under reconstruction, not completed, not fully furnished and stocked, and charging full rates!
