About this property

Plan early for your families summer vacation. Weeks are filling up fast don't miss out on one of the best locations in Ocean Lakes Family Resort. TOWELS AND LINENS (SHEETS) ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Our private family lakefront home overlooks Magnolia Lake with breathtaking ocean views from all 3 deck levels. Our home has five bedrooms, three full baths and an outdoor shower. All bedrooms have their own access door to a bathroom. The large main level deck is perfect for relaxing in the sun or shade while enjoying the ocean breezes or fishing off your own private deck.

It’s just a short walk to the beach, recreation center and new waterpark. Our home is fully furnished with SMART TV's and cable in every room. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and family room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make and serve meals including: microwave, smooth-top range, dishwasher, and all the dishes and cookware you may require. A wet bar is located between the kitchen and living room stocked with wine glasses. A brand new washer/dryer is also provided. There is an outside hot/cold shower for washing off the sand after a fun-filled day at the beach and a gas grill to BBQ. There is covered parking under the house for four cars. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

*Living Room: Cable, flat screen SMART TV, couch, love seat, chair, and wet bar.

*Dining Room: Beautiful table with seating for six and chandelier.

*Deck: Overlooks lake and ocean. Table for six for outside dining.

*Bath: Full bath has access door to bedroom and kitchen.

Second Floor

*Bedroom #2: Bunk bed (full on bottom, twin bed on top) plus one additional twin bed, Cable SMART flat screen TV, closet, dresser and access door to full bath

* Bedroom #3 - Two Twin beds, Cable, flat screen SMART TV, dresser, closet, and access door to full bath.

* Bedroom #4 - One Queen Bed with deck access to lake and ocean views, Cable, flat screen SMART TV, closet, dresser, and access door to full bath.

* Bedroom #5 - One Queen Bed with deck access to lake and ocean views, Cable flat screen SMART TV, closet, dresser, and access door to full bath.

Two full baths upstairs, one full bath downstairs, enclosed shower outside with hot/cold water.

Summer Family Vacation

Upon arrival we noticed blinds in front door were broken, water damage to floor in kitchen, and a hole in the wall beside the front door. We took pictures and sent to owner and she was aware. We had to clean the kitchen floor about 3 times. We have an 8 mo old who uses a walker and an 18 month old, both kids feet were black prior to us cleaning the floor. The grill provided was filthy so we never used it. 2 chairs on outside deck were broken. Otherwise, great location and owner was responsive. We also had a tropical storm for our weeks vacation but that was just the luck of the draw.

Wonderful stay

Great house for the family

Only had a few issues … 2 chairs in bad shape with nails sticking out .. hole in a wall .. dishwasher not the best . House was clean and bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great. Going to rent again .

Stayed at this same location for 2 yrs. Great place. Only problem is for price pd and cleaning fees this needs to be checked on more frequently. For 2 yrs have had to buy mop and mop kitchen floor and bathrooms. Overall family enjoyed the convenience

only one fridge for 11 people!

We never only had one fridge availability. kitchen is very small. Almost impossible for that many people. and bringing your own bedding was a pain. but i should have looked into that first otherwise it’s a great location and price! owner responds immediately to anything and everything! cleaning was great and overall we made it work!

Synopsis of house is outdated and inaccurate

Owner was prompt to respond and resolve the rental issue we had. But the view is the only thing this house has. Living room furniture was worn out, sofa bed was broken making it extremely uncomfortable. Kitchen was poorly stocked. Lots of old pots/pans; no prep/serving bowls. One of the bedroom TV wouldn't work because it was missing the power cord. The futon bed had several layers of thin foam stacked to make a mattress. The whole house was dirty inside and out, especially the kitchen floor.

Would stay here again

Was very pleased with this home. We arrived and it was clean, well equipped, and would easily accommodate a large family. Good location near pools and recreation center. I would recommend this home. My only recommendation would be that it could use some additional or more suitable outdoor furniture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great Location not so clean

The property was in need of repairs throughout the interior and exterior. Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The comforters and bed covers all had to be washed on arrival. There was bugs in multiple areas of the property. The floors were extremely dirty. One of the beds did not match the description. Under the home there was multiple structural members that were cracked. The entire house would shake with any movement. The location of the property was almost unbeatable. There were minor check-in complications. But we’re resolved in about 30 -45 minutes.

Ocean Lakes Campground is one of the nicest places we have stayed for family vacation. The access to the beach, water park, arcade, on-site shopping and golf cart parades made the overall experience excellent! Our unit had dated furniture and could use a few upgrades but we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location on a private street with a great set up house. A little outdated and needs some tune ups, but no complaints for the price. The amenities and community are excellent!

Very Dirty/Nasty/nothing was as promised

It started off at check in, the owner did not have us listed as the rental owners for that weekend. That prolonged check in. The check in was supposed to be at 4pm, we got in around 5pm. The cleaning ladies said nobody had us listed as staying in the home or they would have cleaned it earlier on. The cleaning ladies stated whomever rented before us had trashed the home. Upon finally being able to enter the home, it was disgusting!!! The bathroom were cleaned nicely. Dust and dirt was thick and inches deep on baseboards. Cabinets, microwave was disgusting where it appeared to not have been cleaned in months. The deck on the first floor was rotted in one section so be careful you could fall through. Worst waste of money we have ever spent on a VRBO home and the owner was aware during the whole process. Never once did she offer anything for our troubles! Poor customer service all the way around!!!! I have pictures of the nastiness if needed. Reach out to me at 434-250-9794. I would never recommend a vacation in a home of this nature. I felt so dirty staying here! No linens were provided as stated in the contract. Not one!!!

Family time

My family really enjoyed the house. Good location. Didn't really have to leave the property. All the activities we needed were right there Jen was very nice and helpful only problem was security was acting funny one night. Didn't want to look up that we had a parking pass so we had find and pay for parking for that night other than that, great experience will be renting from her again

We have been coming to Ocean Lakes for 17 years in our RV. Our family has grown up with great memories of our times here. So much so, that we bought homes here so other families can make their memories, too. Ocean Lakes is truly a hidden gem that inspired our company name, Sea Gems. As a family, there is SO much to do here affordably. We have made dear friends that we meet up with yearly. When not enjoying our time here, we live in Medford Lakes, NJ.
