Only 20 scenic miles to the NE gate of YNP to access Lamar Valley and see Wolves, Bears, Pronghorn, Bison, Elk and all of Yellowstone! Beautiful scenic drive to everywhere, including Cooke City MT (20 min), Cody WY approx an hour away. Two of the top 10 rated most scenic drives in America, you can experience them here! The Beartooth Mountains and Red Lodge MT route will take your breath away!! Designated "National Wild and Scenic" the Clarks Fork river is just outside the front door teeming with cold water trout. About the host

Our Family resides in Powell WY, a short drive from the Crandall Cabin. We are natives of the area and like most families have a very hectic busy lifestyle. When we have a spare moment in between sporting events, work commitments and volunteering. We are recreating in the mountains of the Wyoming. Our wish is that you find as much enjoyment in your stay at the Crandall Cabin as much as we enjoy the area as well!
Why they chose this property
It has always been a goal of our Family to be able to spend as much time as possible in the mountains of northwest Wyoming. After many years of hard work and dedication we were able to secure our own Cabin in the mountains. It truly is one of the last best places on earth that we can enjoy.
What makes this property unique
A modern cabin with a rustic feel is exactly what we appreciate when we are at the Crandall Cabin. Yellowstone National Park is near, outstanding views all around, fresh mountain air, the trout filled Clark's Fork River, quick immediate access to Forest Service lands and this great state of Wyoming are just a few of the reasons we chose to make the Crandall Cabin ours.
