“Moonlight Mountain Hideaway” is a dog friendly, fully equipped, w/d, hot tub, TVs, comfy log cabin, with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, one luxury king master on main, a king and a queen bedroom on upper level to accommodate a family of six easily. Walk-in showers!! FIRE TV. Free WiFi ! Gas logs! Fire pit in season. And did we mention gorgeous view of Rich Mountain Wilderness from Ellijay to Blue Ridge!!

Also, we just completed a new lower deck with great amenities! Propane fire pit group, bar, darts, pool table, foosball and 55 inch HD streaming tv!! Movies and football!!

When you book Moonlight, located within the highly sought after Lake Buckhorn Community, you are booking with Buckhorn Cabin Rentals.

At BCR you are a real person, not an "unknown" or only a credit card number punching a key pad. You are our guest. You will be served exactly the same way we would like to be served!!

Hospitality and service form our cornerstone. Personal contact, personal touches and being immaculately clean are what our guests expect and remember. This is what brings our guests back again and again!!

After booking you will be contacted personally by Jim Ferguson, the property manager. You will get all the info needed to locate and access your cabin.

As Jim and his wife, Carolyn live in the Lake Buckhorn Community, within 3 minutes of your cabin you are dealing with a member of the community, not someone miles or hours away, or in another state with 9 to 5 availability hours. Jim is available 24/7 in case of an emergency, or just to ask a guest. It is like having your own personal assistant or concierge!

None of these one hour quick cleaning services with BCR. Your cabin will be immaculately clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. If arriving late Jim will have lights on for you and temperature is set at 73 degrees.

And yes, you will have a 180 degree view of Rich Mountain Wilderness, all the way from Blue Ridge to Ellijay ! Also, hot tub (with full moon, optional!!) and video game area (for the kids, or adults who think they are kids! Lol!!) Playstation2, with game table and foozball. We have now completed the large lower deck featuring pool table, propane fire pit group, darts, 50+ inch tv and bar!! Firestick on TV.

Creek and lake on back property line, plus short hike to Lake Buckhorn across the street and the common area.

Paved roads, easy access, no 4x4 needed. 15 minutes to either Ellijay or Blue Ridge

BTW: Bella or Champ can enjoy it, too! MMH is dog friendly!! (with minor limits) Small pet fee required. Limit two dogs up to 60 lbs. each!!

The whole family will never want to leave the view from the back covered porch. Rocking chairs and checker board table bring back thoughts of simpler times. Kick back and relax with your favorite beverage or your morning cup of coffee, grill a steak or enjoy breakfast with the family around the dining/game table on the porch !!

Brand new living room furnishings make relaxing easy. Sit back to watch a movie, or maybe even take a nap by the fireplace. No snoring allowed!! Lol!!

And speaking of fireplace, how about cuddling up with a glass of wine, book in hand, and enjoying the warmth, of (seasonal) gas logs without having to go outside for wood!

Bring the clubs with you as Whitepath Golf Course is only minutes away! "FOUR!"

If you want the feel of a real fire, there is also a fire pit just outside. So gather around with marsh mellows or hot dogs for quality time with the family (October through March), the kids will love it !! A time to be close with family, or just share with your "sweetie"!
