Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. I love the fact that we were off the main part of the lake so it was very peaceful. House was well stocked with all Utensils we needed. Property owner was very responsive. We will be back!

Great weekend getaway

Our group had an absolute blast on our weekend getaway. This house was large enough to be together and also have our own space. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and playing games on the main floor! I highly recommend.

Great home

Nice facility though room set up wasn’t the best for more than 6 adults. Pictures do make this place look bigger than it is and it needs a few more bathrooms. Otherwise a great facility!

Perfect Summer Week: Fishing, Jumping, Swimming, Boating, Grilling

Fantastic location in calm no wake zone of lake, with easy access to fishing, boating and the “jumping bridge.” Our sons loved jumping off the upper level of dock. Accommodations are very nice and comfortable, but be prepared for a lot of stairs (every house on the lake has them). This is a great place for a family or large group to enjoy this lake.

Perfect!

We had a great time at Norris. The house and property were as advertised. Kids loved the dock - jumping and sliding off of the 2nd deck. As with any house at Norris, be ready for a lot of stairs! Kitchen and rooms were all clean and ready to use. Had a great week and look forward to doing it again.

Loved our stay!!

All the kids loved the double deck dock with slide. Water was beautiful. House was great, we had a problem with AC and they were very quick to fix it. Very happy. There are 104 steps to get from the kitchen to the water...please keep that in mind if you have someone with knee issues...would rent again if we come back to the area.

Great family getaway with good location!

Came to Wildwood with a group of 12 family and friends. The house had easy access to the lake as well as a beautiful two tear dock o relax on. It's also pet friendly so we were able to bring our two small breed dogs and have them enjoy themselves too! The house was very clean and everyone was able to sleep comfortably in their own bedrooms. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this place for any late group. Everyone had a blast!

Best time ever at Lake Norris!

Our large family (20 people) had a great time at Wildwood. There was plenty of room for our big group. We loved the upper deck of the dock. The slide and jumping area were a big hit! The water is so warm this time of year. We weren't too far up in the cove, so it was a very short boat ride to the jumping bridge. The Sugar Hollow marina was very convenient for gas, food, ice and bait. We rented a pontoon boat for the week, in addition to the two boats that we brought. This was our 5th trip to the lake and we decided that this one was the best ever!

Fun family times!

This home is exactly what the description implies. We found the very top of the stairs room and the two at the very bottom were non usuable due to no bathrooms and going outside to get to those very bottom rooms. Beware that there are 4 flights of stairs not counting the 100 steps down to the dock area. Our family loved all the space. Perfect for a large gathering. Two refrigerators a plus! You seriously can only park 3 vehicles. Thanks for a very nice time.

Family 2024 Lake Trip

Our overall was fantastic! Huge beautiful cabin right on the water with great dock and fire pit for many fun days on the water evening around the fire. The only 2 downfalls are the bedrooms 7&8. They are COMPLETEY separate from the rest of the house. You actually have to walk outside and down one of those back flights of steps. So no bathroom, kitchen access and no TVs. It would be a little more tolerable if at the end of the night you're ready to go in, Relax for an hour and watch some t v before going to bed. Its already rough having to walk outside at 3am up a flight of ateps to use the restroom. Its not explained throughly. When having lots of kids, it would be nice if all the bedrooms atleast had a small television.

Nice place, but a cheap operation.

The house has some nice features, lake access, beautiful views, but some quirks. The beds are awful. Two of the bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house and don't have an attached bathroom, so midnight bathrooms runs involve climbing up the external deck stairs to the rest of the house. One bedroom is so small that the only piece of furniture in the room is the bunk bed. But probably the worst thing about this cabin is the lack of basics. We had to drive 30 minutes into town and spend $100 on just basics to make the place livable. There was no hand soap, almost no toilet paper, no trash bags, no paper towels. We even had to buy table salt. This place is way too nice and way too expensive to nickle and dime guests for basics needed to just live a normal life. We had a good time, but we wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely loved the place!!! What a great time!!!

There are a few things I wanted to bring to your attention. The toilet on lower level needs a new flapper. Tank just keeps running and tank doesn't fill enough for flushing. The dryer takes for ever to dry closes might need a new heat element. The refrigerator upper level has a broken shelf. We also noticed there is 2 broken windows. I tried to make sure we left it nicer then we found it. Hope the cleaning service is happy about that. Sorry we left a baby gate on the steps. We didn't want to take it down until we were leaving because of the babies. It's brand new and I hope future renters has it for use. Oh and after we got back to Michigan and unpacked I discovered I had a steak knife that belongs there. I can ship it to you if you tell me were to send it. Also I bought a pot holder for the kitchen. The pots have metal handles and there wasn't a potholder, so now there is. Totally loved the place and will refer to anyone looking for a place. Thank you!!!

We had a blast!! We rented a boat, which I highly recommend, so we lived down there!

This is a beautiful spot! We were not aware at how many stairs there were but we worked it out. We had our 86 year old mom with us so she just climbed up and find once a day. You will want to look at the rooms to make sure it works for your group. The bunk room at the top and the two rooms on the bottom level do not have access to a bathroom on that floor so kids would do heat in those rooms. All in all, our group loved it and can’t wait to go back to Norris Lake!

Nice part of lake

Beds were tired and sheets wouldn’t stay on and we had to clean on arrival. Other than that, The place is high up with views and an awesome dock and slide clean blue water. Could be difficult for small children or elderly or with disabilities to get up and down. Great part of lake in no wake is great for swimming. Close marinas. Awesome grill. Plenty of propane for it. Price was a bit high for the creature comforts but with covid I’m sure everything is inflated and hard to find.

Perfect for our party of 18

WOW! Wildwood is perfectly placed and was fantastic for our mixed aged group of 18 9age range was (50yrs to 6 years old) We put the teen boys in bedrooms 7 and 9 (the rooms on bottom level w/o bathroom), while the adults and kids had the upper floors. We knew going in that fridg space was tight, so each family brouht 1-2 coolers and put them on the deck for drinks. The double decker dock was endless entertainment for all. We had a family emergency that drove 2 families out early so we have all vowed a "Redo in 2022" at the same cabin. Thanks for having us~!

Perfect View

The views were awesome from the deck on this lovely home!! We had a large group, everyone had plenty of space and the lake is beautiful. We spent our days on the water, brought our boat and visited the local Sugar Hollow Marina- Taco Thursday and live music, the kids danced and had a great time. We hiked at the National Forest, Grotto Falls, and checked out some of the touristy type places in Gatlinburg. The location was convenient for picking up groceries and other goodies. The only negative but truly was hysterical for us, is the master bedroom upstairs doesn’t have a blind or curtain- my sister was surprised to see she gave the boys next door quite a show. We laughed for days after seeing them jumping up and down. We would do this same vacation again and again!!

Thank You!!

As a business owners always at work or on the phone, this was a place we could get away with the family and relax. The cabin was clean and provided a comfortable environment. I read reviews before arriving so I was prepared on toilet paper, hand soap and cleaning supplies. There were plenty of seats and dishes for meals the owner really accommodated on fridge space (2). We rented a boat from Norris Lake WaterSports that was delivered the day we arrived, that was amazing! Beds are a 6/10, but hey your feet are hitting the ground every morning to watch the sunrise over the mountains and lake, the views are AMAZING! WiFi was excellent, it allowed us to make calls on the outdoor patio and work every morning on the computer over looking the lake before everyone woke up. Appreciated the laundry room, that was perfect and the second living room downstairs gave all the young adults an area to stay up late without waking my parents upstairs. The room up top is very, very small, however it accommodates a sleeping area for one or two people. Best part and I’m so thankful to the owner (who by the way stop to ask if we needed anything...you rock) for allowing our black labs to join the trip, they I swear to god jumped off the dock 3,573,838 times and probably had more fun than anyone else. The outside is amazing, the dock is double decker with nice seating up top to sun bath and party. The middle outdoor area had outdoor games, a fire pit (s’mores were a hit) and plenty of seating. All around amazing location, amazing cabin, amazing management.

Nice gateway

The cabin and the place is beautiful! We really enjoy it. Check in was really frustrated because the owner never sent me a message with the gate and door code. I didn’t have in the spam email. The cabin needs more towels , dish soap and some essentials care like more toilet paper (only one in each bathroom)and some soap to shower. But generally everything was fine and we enjoyed this amazing place!
