Family fun

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect size for our crew. We loved the additional house that allowed one family to have their own space. The house has a beautiful view and we loved the whole property.

Great place for a big group.

We had four families with us and we had plenty of room to hang out. The kids loved running around outside and playing in the snow.

Mountain getaway

We have a BIG family! We could not have been happier with the accommodations. The house is roomy and well laid out with 2 family rooms and a well stocked kitchen. High chair, stroller, pack and play. They had everything! The owner checked on us and was right there if we needed anything. I we also used the bunkhouse. It has its own kitchen and living area and sleeps a lot of people!!! The area was beautiful and right on the river! We will definitely go back!

Exceeded Expectations

The online pictures don't do this property justice. The house is an older ranch style house that feels authentic and comfortable. It is beautiful. The layout was perfect for our large group. We were 3 couples, 2 singles and 12 young people. There is a separate den with french doors and fireplace which was used by those who needed a break from our large group. It was perfect for college football viewing. The great room has a gas fireplace and is open to the kitchen and dining area. That room was used daily for reading and winding down. We had 10 teenagers/young adults who stayed in the bunkhouse and it was perfect. It is just across the driveway from the main house, but far enough away they had some privacy and space to play games and stay up late if they were so inclined. The house is about 20 minutes from town, but we enjoyed being away from it all. The owners are onsite. They were available and responsive to any communication from us, but other than that we did not see or hear them. We have been coming to Pagosa for 10 years and this was our favorite place we have stayed.

Family get together

Fun for the whole family. Zana and Mitch were great. We enjoyed the beautiful home, fire pitt, horse shoes, river floating and even a dance in the pavillion. Nearby Pagosa Springs offered great shops, hot air balloons , horse rides and much more. Highly recommend!

Amazing view Ranch

The process from beginning to end was amazing with the property owner. The property was amazing and simply beautiful!! The coziness of the main house made our stay extra special because we all had plenty of room to be alone or with each other in any part of the house. The house was clean and we had plenty of supplies That were supplied to us. ( paper towels, trash bags, towels ect.....) We are all already planning our next trip back up to stay at this beautiful property. Thank you Zana!

Great property and wonderful owner.

Main house was beautiful with lots of room. ONLY critique is that the bunkhouse does not have running water so no restroom for the persons staying in bunkhouse. Our 10 kids had to run back and forth from bunkhouse to main house to go potty. otherwise it was a pleasure! Thank you Zana!

Great stay

Great property for large groups. House and facilities were nice. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. No AC so it gets a little warm in the summer but it cools off nicely in the evenings. Loved the pavilion for outdoor meals

Family Reunion

Paradise Ranch is a great setting for a family reunion. We especially loved the property where our kids (young and old) could explore and play. The Crawfords provided yard games (badminton, corn hole, horseshoes, etc....). Our family thoroughly enjoyed the safe and welcoming environment. The grandkids loved being able to run outside and play on their own. We also enjoyed playing in the river that crosses the property. It was distant enough so that we didn't worry about the kids wandering down by themselves. The pavilion was a great gathering spot for story telling, meals, and games. Zana was wonderful to work with and easily accessible when we had questions. Thanks so much to the Crawfords for sharing your wonderful home!

We had a great time...wonderful place!

We rented Paradise Ranch for 5 nights and we had 15 people. It was clean, well decorated and had so much room! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed including a crockpot which we used to make chili one night and chicken tacos another. The bunkhouse was great for our teens who enjoyed their own fridge and t.v. The owners were very hospitable...there was fresh lemonade and tea in the fridge upon arrival! The checkin and checkout process was super easy and the owners were easily accessible. One morning after a hard rain our water pressure dropped and we called Mrs. Crawford and it was fixed by that evening! The place is beautiful, there were flowers everywhere and we hiked around the property and in the forest a couple days ...my sister-in-law and brother each found an elk shed! While the river was too high after the snow melt to tube or fish, we enjoyed being on it and there were nice stairs to access the river. It would be lovely to fish and tube it later in the summer. We saw beaver, elk, fox, turkey, deer, stellar jays, hummingbirds, and more. We fished in Echo Lake just down the road and caught trout, bass and catfish. We hiked to Treasure Falls (a 20 min drive) and drove to Wolf Creek pass where they still had snow! We did a 2 hr trail ride with the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park just down the road and also toured their park which had a good variety of local wildlife and fed some of the animals there. The trail ride was amazing and took us to some very scenic views in the San Juan Mountains! We hiked to Piedra Falls and drove to Williams Creek Reservoir which was a gorgeous drive and also stopped on the way back to soak in the hot springs at Springs Resort in town. We enjoyed malts at the Malt Shop there also. At the property in the evening we played cards at the tables in the barn with all the lights on and one night we built a fire in the pit with the firewood the owners had cut and left for us and roasted marshmallows. The stars at night were amazing! We all had such a good time and my kids fell in love with the mountains! I would certainly recommend the property as a great place to experience all the local area has to offer while also being able to relax in the peace and quiet just outside of town. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us and being so hospitable! We would definitely come back 😊

Perfect for a Group

The ranch is beautiful and right next to the National Forest with stream access. The property is large enough to offer plenty of space for a larger group. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this listing for a beautiful and pristine visit to Pagosa Springs.

Paradise Ranch was a perfect place to stay for our two families. Plenty of room and very nice inside

We spent our Soring Break at Paradise Ranch. It was a great location near restaurants, shops, snow skiing, sledding, and trails to hike. The warm and cozy cabin was the perfect place to comeback to after a full day enjoying the beauty of Colorado. We had plenty of room for our two families. The decor throughout the cabin was really nice and good quality. It was nice to have two spacious living rooms with fireplaces to keep us warm in both. We loved staying at Paradise Ranch and would definitely suggest it for others and also would come back again.
