Wonderful condo - walking distance to Alpine Meadows
We've rented a lot of condos in the Lake Tahoe area for vacations and this one is by far the best. Gourmet kitchen was great for dinners in, the log fire was wonderful, beds were super comfortable and the showers were nice and hot! Loved our time here, would love to rent this again!
Great condo for a family ski weekend at Alpine Meadows
Our family of 4 had a great stay at this super clean condo that is a short walk to Alpine Meadows ski resort. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and helpful communications from the host. We loved that we could park our car right in front of the unit which made unloading the car so easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We were delighted with this condo for our family ski vacation.
Our family stayed for 4 days. It had all the extras for a fun week in the snow. Practically right down the street from the resort, plenty of room for everyone, beautiful fireplace, close to Truckee and Tahoe City and fantastic views. Host was very responsive and helpful.
We stayed here for ski week in February 2023 and had quite the adventure. The location was ideal, the kitchen was well stocked, and the steam showers and jacuzzi bath were a hit after a long day out in the snow.
Most importantly, because we happened to be there during a snow storm, Jacqueline was a fantastic resource, suggesting how to dig out the car, where to go sledding, and even searched where we could go while we were briefly stuck trying to go home.
Would definitely stay here again for our next ski trip!
The place was as pictured and more! The kitchen is well-stocked. The beds had comfortable linens. It really was a home away from home. The owners are very communicative and compassionate. I had to change schedule due yo my son’s unpredictable schedule. They were accommodating.

Great condo close to Alpine
The condo was great-- two bedrooms on the bottom floor, a third bedroom with it's own bathroom on the top floor, a warm and cozy sitting area on the top floor, and a recently remodeled kitchen. The beds were all super comfortable, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the location is super close to Alpine ski resort-- we actually walked to it (albeit without equipment). Bathrooms we also remodeled and very nice. Highly recommended. We hope to return!
Amazing condo. Everything was great:
-Mattresses were nice and firm for a great night's sleep.
-Appliances were top-notch and in perfect working order.
-Well-stocked with necessities.
-Manager (Jacqueline) was fantastic.
-Shout-out to next door neighbor (Carl) who helped us w/ our fire.
Overall, a great place that we'll book again if possible.
Not related to accommodations, but any skiers/snowboarders reading this review (esp. Californians): Please learn how to alternate in a lift line. Common courtesy goes a long way to making everyone's experience better. I've skied around the world, and California riders are by far the worst in this regard.
We were there for a brief stay in late-June and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The unit was very clean and well stocked--no problems at all. Jacqueline was great to work with from beginning to end. She was responsive and very proactive in letting us know well in advance that she was going to be out of town on the day we were to begin our stay and provided us with everything we needed to know about accessing the unit, important information about the unit as well as leaving the unit at the end of our stay.
The owner is particularly responsive and let us know immediately about a smoke problem and running the Hepa filters. Very well equipped and extremely clean. TY Jackie
Perfect spot for our family ski weekend. Very well maintained condo - clean, updated, nicely and comfortably decorated. Well stocked kitchen. Kids loved the triple bunk bed! Other beds were a bit big for their room size but cozy so it made up for it. Communication with the host was super easy. And the location can’t be beat -1 min drive from Alpine’s back lot. We’ll be back!
We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was easy to get to, had everything we needed, and was a comfortable stay. We went to both Squaw and Alpine, both great mountains for skiing.
Great condo for two families to share. Bunk room was a hit for the young kids (ages 5-8) Two minute drive to the ski resort. Borrowed the sleds for a morning of sledding. Will return! Thank you!
Awesome spot in Winter for those focused on skiing and boarding .
We’ve stayed in other units off Scott Peak Road and really like this one. Comfortable and clean and an ideal home base after skiing for the entire day(s). Owner was super responsive to questions we had. We’d love to come back.
We had an enjoyable time at the condo. It was close to Alpine, just a two minute drive. Ski-in was not really an option with the snow conditions and it looks like it would be challenging in any conditions so I wouldn't really call this a ski-in condo. Otherwise, everything was juist fine.

Lovely condo, great location
We had a wonderful stay here, the condo is very warm, comfortable and inviting. Perfect blend of kid-friendly (we had 18 month old & 5 year old) and adult-luxury. The location is great, walkable to Alpine, and close to River Ranch for dinner out. Tons of snow in the area right now and a nice little sledding hill for the kids in the condo complex. Jacquelyn was a gracious and accommodating host who went out of her way to make us feel at home.

About the host
Hosted by Jacqueline Singer
I am a psychologist from Sonoma, CA. I have come to Tahoe since I was a child and loved bringing my own children. You and your kids will love it too. Every season provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
Why they chose this property
Alpine Meadows is a unique combination of quiet, comfort and outdoor activities. Nestled into the alpine mountains yet close to Lake Tahoe with all that it has to offer- the lake, biking, hiking, swimming, waterskiing, fishing, restaurants, boating, horseback riding, golfing and of course skiing. Close to the action yet away from the crowds. One of the most beautiful interiors in the Tahoe area.
What makes this property unique
Ski-in from Alpine Meadows, hike or mountain bike right from the front door or use the sledding hill. Only minutes to Lake Tahoe and Palisades or the Truckee River bike path or fishing. Be the first on the mountain with only a 1 minute drive or call for a shuttle directly to Alpine (check resort website for start and stop dates).
