Vintage Beach Cottage with Modern Flair!!!

Impeccably maintained & stocked with all the perks. This pet friendly home sits on a large lot with fenced backyard located one house away from a public beach access which delivers you directly to the emerald waters & sugary white sand of the Gulf. Travel the opposite direction, approximately 75, feet and take advantage of the boardwalk access which makes carrying carts and rolling coolers a breeze.

The family area is accented by no hassle ceramic tile floors, granite counters, vaulted ceilings and tons of natural light. There is a large flat-screen smart television as well as a stereo system for vacationers enjoyment. This cozy beach house provides meal seating for 10, plus bar seating for two more. The outdoor space with it's fenced in yard allows those pets to safely roam, you'll find a charcoal grill and outdoor furniture for your enjoyment if you've had all you can take of the beach for one day, and there's a Hot/Cold Shower to wash away the sand and suntan oils. Additionally, for those who want to watch the ocean waves or the sun-rise and set, try the upper deck with your morning coffee and evening wine.

Dog lovers welcome (25 lb weight limit) with $200 per pet fee.

Cozy house, great location

House was cozy and clean, well furnished. Everything worked well and there were plenty of towels and kitchen dishes. The deck at rooftop level was great, we sat up there every morning and evening and just enjoyed the breeze and the ocean sounds. Very nice patio and deck furniture. The house is older but seems to have been kept up pretty well The backyard was very overgrown with weeds and lots of sand bur stickers and was unusable for anything. If it was cleared and the stickers taken care of, it would be awesome for volleyball, hammocks, or whatever. The location was perfect for us, right across the street from the beach and there are two easy beach accesses literally just steps away from the house. This is located in a very nice neighborhood. We would stay here again for future visits due to location, price, and beach proximity.

worst VRBO experience ever

We were a group of 5 adults and 5 children staying for a week in August. We rented here for the location, a short walk to the beach. We soon discovered the property had no working hot water. The owner was mostly responsive by text and phone, but it became clear that she does not live in the area and she doesn't have a local property manager to handle problems. Therefore we had to use precious vacation time to be on site for a plumber. The plumber informed us that the hot water heater was dead and should have been replaced approximately 10 years ago based on the model and expected life cycle. So we had to spend more precious vacation time the next day while plumbers replaced the hot water heater. About 2 days into our vacation we finally had hot water. But the biggest problem was what appeared to be black mold growing on the wall in the room with bunk beds for kids. The property owner shipped cleaning supplies to the property, apparently with the expectation that we would clean and remediate the mold ourselves. The bedroom appears to have previously been a garage that was converted into a living space. The conversion was shoddy (I'm no expert, but I'm sure it wasn't up to code), hence the mold. Long story short, after spending 6 hours of precious vacation time on the phone with VRBO, we checked out early, VRBO refunded all of our money and helped us move into a better/safer spot.. Stay away from this place! Also, VRBO customer service is a mess!

awesome place!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect for all of our needs. Plenty of room and easy access to the beach (what my family loved the most) The town of Pensacola Beach was better than expected. The restaurants were great and just over the bridge was grocery stores and anything else you may need. The beach itself was awesome as well. No need to get up bright and early to find a good spot, plenty of space and no crowds. Stephany was great to work with and was quick to respond to any needs. If you are going to Pensacola Beach, rent this place!

Great spot, disappointing property

Great spot along Pensacola Beach but unfortunately our family reunion had a dark spot. This property is NOT what is portrayed in the listing's description or pictures. There was NO table with chairs on the back patio, there was NO picnic table, there was NO hammock. The backyard was so overgrown it was virtually unusable, the rooftop deck was in terrible and unsafe condition, there was garbage lying on the front yard up against the house. The interior was filthy with disgusting stains on the inside of the entry door, on many of the kitchen cabinets and the furniture was stained dark with wear that had to accumulate over years of use. To VRBO's credit they forced the owner to refund our money (minus VRBO fees etc.). BEWARE

House needs work

The house was just ok. The location was great! But, there were a few issues with the house. The landscaping needs a major makeover, long weeds everywhere, unable to use volleyball net in the back yard. The upstairs deck has boards missing. The chimney leaks when it rains causing big puddles of water on the living room floor. The pull out sofa bed had cheetos and looked filthy! The pics posted online must be very old, the ocean view is now almost completely blocked by other beach houses now. Photos show nice colorful beach chairs in the yard but they werent there when we were there. If you can get passed all that you will enjoy your stay. Overall we enjoyed it.

Family beach vacation 2023

There was 11 of us ages 4 to 60. Everyone had a great time there was even room for everyone to sit down at the same time. The house was really close to the beach and had everything we needed. It was an older house and didn’t have all the steps to get into it a big plus for me. Very clean and nice. A very short drive to restaurants. Plus the beach was not crowded

Great House

We had a wonderful stay! House was super comfortable and close to the beach. Working ceiling fans in every room which is a must for us. The backyard was perfect and just what we needed for grilling dinner. Property manager was great and easy to get in touch with. Over all a great house.

Cozy Place

The house is nice; although, it needs some updating of the place and some of the furniture. Communication with Stephany is excellent. She is responsive. I did tell her the need for new cleaning people, the place was very dirty. I sent her pictures of the ceiling fans with thick dust on them. She did recommend to wash all the dishes before using them. Location is amazing. Slight views of the gulf. Dog beach is close. Nice and felt like safe neighborhood.

Very quaint stay

The property exterior was a little run down with excessive weed growth in the yard, however it was very clean and pretty inside with plenty of everything needed in a rental. Perfect for people with kids! Property manager communication was perfect and I would recommend this place for sure.

We loved our stay

It was a great week, and we absolutely loved our stay. The home was very well cleaned, and well stocked with anything we needed. The only warning I would give is to make sure if you go out to play volleyball to make sure you wear full tennis shoes because of the coast sandbur!! They hurt!! My husband pulled up as many as he could find but we still had to check our dog’s paws every time she went out and pull the burr out. But it’s a plant and out of the owners control, just be aware they are there. Also picked up some walking to the beach so again, it has absolutely nothing to do with the home owner, just be aware and check paws and don’t go barefoot. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, the beach was never crowded, I highly recommend it!!! Happy vacation!!

Location is great , but the property needs a lot of attention

The reason we booked this place was based on the last reviews . When we got there , I was shocked how bad in shape this place is . When the lady before said the pictures don’t do justice, I can only agree because it is much worse ! I didn’t expect to stay in a luxury beach house , but I would like the standard cleanliness and properly working household when I take my family on vacation . Especially staying with a smaller children .The place needs a deep cleaning and beds and couches need to be replaced . We found candy wrappers , half empty coke bottles and trash under the beds . In the master bedroom we even found a pill on the floor . I don’t want to imaging what would’ve happen , if one of the kids would have eaten it ! The mattress is absolutely disgusting and filthy. The pull out couch is so dirty that my daughter went and bought a air mattress , because she did not wanted to lay on it . Most dressers were broken and the appliances in the kitchen have issues . Pots and pans are also not very appealing , bottoms were burned but there was a set of newer cast iron pans that was great for us to use . The key pad on the front door is faulty and that’s a safety issue , the back door is so badly jammed , you need some force to open and shut it . After reading older reviews I saw that the freezer is leaking for over a year and hasn’t replaced . After I reached out to the host , we were advices to put a towel in front until she gets a repair man out there . That never happened and she never gave us any updates . The water leaking all over the tiles and can be easily a slipping hazard for kids or elderly . The ceiling fan and light in the living room is almost falling off when turned on . The deck is a safety hazard and I am sure not up to code . Banisters are broken , split and missing . Big enough for a child to fall through . There is no light at the stairs so at night you can easily fall down the stairs . The landscape is also in poor condition . Positive things to say is the short walk to the beach , new beach towels were there , but not enough wash cloth and kitchen towels to use . Washer detergent and dryer sheets, toilet paper and paper towels were provided for the first day of our stay . So all in all not what we expected but we made it work . Just want to make follow renters aware of the condition of the place

Awesome Pupper Vacation!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this awesome dog friendly vacation rental! It was exactly what we expected and more! There was so much room! The pictures don't do the layout justice. Everybody had their own spaces and the backyard was fantastic!!! The stairs to the upper deck have been replaced and they are brand new, but what was more important to me was that the fence was nicely maintained and did not have any weak spots that I had to worry about with two pups exploring the yard. The volley ball net is new and the yard was a normal beach yard, so if there was high brush there before(as I read in another review), it is gone now. Again, more importantly there are no sand spurs!!! Do you know how hard it is to find a beach yard without sand spurs!!! My pups were able to explore and sniff without getting spurs in their sweet paws and THAT is a rare find at a beach house!!! The sofa was very comfy and the TVs and wifi worked great! Zero issues with that. The house rules were simple and straight forward and the supplies that they started us with were perfect. Anything else we needed was easily delivered with Instacart and Doordash. This is a perfectly classic cinder block style beach house with nice updates, but still true to it's original self and a little piece of nostalgia for anyone who remembers Pensacola Beach before all of the high rises popped up. I love that it is all one level too! I'm not looking to walk stairs just to get from the front door to a living area and then another set of stairs to get to bedrooms. So if you are looking for a relaxing HOME to stay in with your furry family, then this is the place for you! I'm already planning my next trip back and this will be a go to home for us to stay at!
