Top floor unit in First Tracks, with an unobstructed view of the flattops.
The Condo
Wildhorse Meadows is one of the newest resort communities in Steamboat Springs Colorado. Located just steps away from the Wildhorse Gondola, this fully remodeled modern 2bed/2ba condo in the First Tracks development has direct access to the Steamboat Ski Resort.
The Kitchen is professionally stocked with a Nepresso Vertuo Machine, Kitchen Aid, Cusinart and all the basics, including brand new appliances and Granite counters. The Living Room includes a smart flat screen HDTV with an Xbox HBO, NETFLIX, Prime and much more . There is also a deck with sitting area off the living room that has great views of the Yampa Valley. The Master Bedroom includes a California King bed and a smart flat screen TV, with a connected full Master Bath and ample closet space. The in home office is set-up off the kitchen with a flat screen MAC and Canon printer and free WIFI which is connected to a SONOS system for music. The second bedroom has a King size bed and a smart flat screen TV, and the bathroom is located two steps away. There is a full sized washer and dryer located off the kitchen. All furnishings, Plates, Utensils, Pots and Pans, Linens, Towels and Mattresses are brand new.
While staying, you have full access to all the amenities at Trailhead Lodge; Amenities include a heated lap pool, 3 “grotto” hot tubs with waterfalls, a fitness center, game room, and BBQ/outdoor area. One of the best amenities, though, is the Wildhorse Gondola linking Trailhead Lodge to the Steamboat Ski Area.
If you enjoy good coffee bring along some Nepresso pods - Nespresso Vertuo Line, - they have them on Amazon. Otherwise there is a Cusinart Drip Coffee Machine.
The unit has stocked spices and basics for your cooking needs.

Trespassed due to poor process

I was provided access codes to 2 different units. The host repeatedly sent these out making it confusing about which unit I should enter. I picked the wrong unit, trespassing on its occupant. I apologized to everyone. We felt horrible. The host reinforced that we should feel horrible, and that they "never should have rented to us" We feel even more horrible. We reviewed the host instructions, re-confirming that they instructed us to enter the wrong unit. We stayed one night in what we think was the correct unit, but still not sure. Due to feeling horrible, taking blame, and having trespassed, we left to stay in a nice hotel.

Champagne Property!

Even though we were here during July for a wedding, Christina’s place brings Steamboat’s infamous Champagne powder to mind… cause this apartment sparkles and is a Champagne of properties! Beautiful, comfortable, charming and loaded with everything you need to cook, drink, chill, and relax! We brought our dog too! The nicest dog friendly place we ever stayed at. This is my first Vrbo experience and it was a great one! Thank you Christina!

Great Place

As advertised. Easy 10 min walk to wildhorse Gondola which whisks you right up to the mountain town. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and comfy beds and nice porch for enjoying morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen made it easy to cook in for breakfast or dinner will all the needed tools and spices. Easy access to all the hotel amenities, such as the gym, hot tub and pool. Quick and reliable communication with the host as well.

Exceeded Expectations

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is very well appointed - the kitchen has every gadget you can think of! It is tastefully furnished and the master bed was incredibly comfortable. Tall husband especially appreciated the placement of the shower head! We will definitely be coming back to this terrific unit again.

Had an amazing time!

We had an wonderful stay at Christina's condo. Its perfectly located to go into town (close enough for cheap ubers if you didn't want to drive) and an easy walk to the gondola to get on the mountain to ski. The house was clean, beds really comfy and kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need (including coffee which we enjoyed each morning! :D). Also enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains for sunrises and sunsets. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and community

Perfect set-up in convenient location

The condo was absolutely amazing and located in a central location convenient to shopping, the ski resort, and downtown. The condo layout gave everyone their own space, and the open kitchen and living room was great for cooking and coming together. Christina was also very quick to respond regarding any questions, which was a relief when planning this trip. The one hiccup was realizing there was no elevator to the 3rd floor unit, but it only impacted the guy who ran 100 miles the weekend we stayed and, really, it was a good way to keep him moving. 5 stars! Would absolutely recommend this condo.

Very nice!

The property is very clean and well organized with everything you might need for your stay. The location south of the town of Steamboat is easy to access, most especially if you are visiting the ski complex. A City Market grocery is close by, as well as restaurants. Construction was taking place near the unit but it was never a bother. The air conditioner developed a problem during our stay and the hosts were immediately responsive. While they were unable to obtain a repairman they put out quite a bit of effort trying. Fortunately you often do not need A/C in the mountains and we were perfectly comfortable with windows cracked open. All total we found it an excellent experience .

We had a very enjoyable stay in Wildhorse. The location is convenient to shopping, golf, and hiking trails. Our dog loved the Rita Valentine dog park.

Wonderful location, quiet get away, great views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christina was such a wonderful host and answered also of our questions within minutes. The condo is very clean and easy to access. Great location and quiet

This is a great property for two couples. We used it as a home base for hiking and mountainbiking. The condo has everything you need and many conveniences that make it comfortable (e.g., coffee maker; espresso maker; luggage racks and laundry baskets in each bedroom; soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers; dishwasher soap and laundry supplies). You are close to the ski mountain and to shops, restaurants, and grocery. And it it dog friendly! Property managers were always available to answer questions and help with anything. Great place!

Clean, Reliable, Spacious, Lovely Steamboat Experience

Our stay was clean, reliable, spacious, and we had a lovely Steamboat experience because we chose to stay here. Kristina was very responsive. Kitchen well appointed - we cooked 2 out of 3 meals there daily. Pool nearby didn't have a kiddie area but within walking distance. We appreciated that no fragrances were used in detergents, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Great condo!!

I would highly recommend this property! We had 4 of us stay and it wasn’t crowded at all. Beds are very nice quality, balcony has great Mountain View’s and located close to downtown. Check in was easy and host was extremely communicative and helpful for any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo, Great Location

This property is an easy short walk to the Wild Horse gondola which takes you right to the Steamboat ski lifts. No worries about parking, just a quick ride on the Gondola. Condo is up to date, nicely equipped and well kept. Many extra amenities you wouldn’t expect with small unexpected nice touches. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Ski in/out condo

We stay at a lot of ski condo's/homes via VRBO etc. This rental was perfect for us. In terms of ski in/out, the gondola was a short 0.1 mile walk and was very convenient to start and end your day. Hot tub/pool entrance is next to the gondola. The condo itself was very clean, beds/pillows comfortable and kitchen well stocked(basically everything you need). It has Sonos speakers so if you have the app on your phone you can play music from your music library. We did not rent a car so what was really nice is that you have access to Vacasa bus service to get you everywhere you want to go(groceries,main street restaurants/shops etc). We never had to call an Uber/Lyft ride by having this service. Saved us a fair amount of $'s. I would recommend this condo without hesitation.

Steamboat is our happy destination... This was the first year that we were able to buy a house here and we really love the small town. Skiing is our passion and we enjoy the summers here also! Our other home is in Venice California, with our children.

Both of us are in the arts as a Designer and a Photographer, we have made our house an experience that has beautiful photography and high-end design and comfort - when we started looking at Steamboat we saw a need to give guests a hotel and comfort feel with some fun and high end appeal. We hope that you love our home and enjoy your stay!!

Everything is new, not your average rental - a lot of thought went into what people would want and to have the most amazing experience with a SONOS sound system, Xbox for the little ones, HBO, Netflix and an Amazon firestick to cut down on your entertainment costs, which can allow you to relax and have a fantastic restful experience, even while cooking and preparing for the next exciting eventful outdoor day.
