This property was excellent for family that flew in from out of town and joined us. We had a central location, friends were able to drop by and visit, and the common area was great for preparing food. The host was very accommodating and responsive.
This property was exactly as described. It’s in a nice location, very well-stocked and equipped, and very clean! Overall, we had a lovely stay!
My only suggestion is that there be some pool toys stocked at the house!
This is a beautiful new home with a great open floor plan. It is very close to all the great restaurants and shopping in Arcadia. Amy is a great hostess and is always available. We stayed for two months and will definitely go back!
Great open, airy home close to all that we love about Central Phx
This home was prefect for our 4 days in the Phx area. First off, Arcadia (the neighborhood) was 15-20 min from everything we scheduled - Phx Mountain Preserve hikes, Piestewa Peak, Desert Botanical Gardens, Downtown Restaurants and ASU. Within walking/biking distance are several trendy restaurants as well as the AZ canal system bike trail.
Amy, our hostess, met us at the property and graciously explained the nuances of the home. The photos do not give the main room justice - it was open, airy and spacious for our busy family of 7. The gourmet kitchen was perfect for COVID friendly cooking nights in with topname appliances and ample counter space. All 3 rooms were clean, spacious and bright with comfortable fresh beds - NO "taco" mattresses or barely-100-thread count linens. Good closet spaces and storage. Bathrooms sparkled and offered brand name toiletries. The pool was on the smaller side but perfect for our lounging teens and also crystal clean. As a bonus, the fountains provided great ambiance. We enjoyed using the 2 bikes that came with the house - Amy had them serviced before our arrival and they were in perfect working order. One o the all around best VRBOs we've had the fortune of finding. You will not be disappointed if Arcadia is your destination! Thank you Amy for your hospitality.
I've rented dozens upon dozens of VRBOs over the years and few, if any, have really lived up to the listing descripitions. This house was one of the few that really exceeded my already high expectations. First, the owner of the house is who you'll be communicating with and she is on point and delightful.
When dealing 3rd party property managers, especially the larger ones, the experience is often so transactional, that anything being wrong with the property instantly becomes a bad transaction, and a negative experience. The property owner here is excellent and cleary takes pride in the experience of her guests.
As it relates to the actual house, everything was well stocked, from the kitchen, to pool toys for the kids, to the bathrooms. It's funny, you stay in enough VRBOs, and you'll start to notice a lot of corner-cutting. Not in this place. The tissue boxes were Kleenex, not the sand-paper you wipe your nose with at other places. To make a long story short, it is the little things that make a stay nice and this owner and house is done right; clean, great location, nice pool, normal neighbors, and good & responsive owner.
I spent the month of October 2020 at this property and it was perfect! Amy’s house was exactly what we were looking for, and the location is walking distance to many great restaurants in Arcadia. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed (and then some!) to make our stay enjoyable. Checkin was a breeze, and Amy was always available for any questions. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again if traveling to Phoenix.

About the host
Hosted by Amy Miller
A midwest native I moved to Phoenix in 2015 and fell in love. Growing up in a bed and breakfast, hosting is in my blood. I currently am a property manager and a spin instructor at The Madison and love both things that I call jobs.
Why they chose this property
I loved the vibe, corner lot, light wood floor and over detail and house layout. I knew it was the one right when I walked in. It has that vibe.
