This is a newly finished "studio/bungalow" with 2 bedrooms, ( one is open to the kitchen and dining room area and the other is private with a pocket door), complete with a gourmet kitchen with solid cherry cabinets, all new stainless appliances, heated floor bathroom with a handicapped accessible shower, built in surround sound system with large screen TV... etc. This unit can be booked separately or in conjunction with the unit listed as #815176. This is perfect for a couple traveling with young kids or a senior parent. But if you want a larger group or in case you are traveling with another couple or are meeting friends here in the Springs, book with the home mentioned above. It is located on the same lot so every destination is still the same distance. Really close to Old Colorado City just 3 blocks or 5 minutes walking. Fantastic Stay, Great location

Bungalow Bijou was the perfect location for our stay. It is upgraded with top-of-the-line appliances, furnishings, and heated floors in the bathroom.Additionally, it is perfect for handicapped individuals with all doors accessible. It is ground level, and extremely convenient location to garden of the gods old Colorado city, Colorado Springs and many other attractions.We thoroughly enjoyed the patio barbecue grill and enclosed yard. The privacy is top notch.Would definitely stay here again, and the owner was very helpful.

Bijou Hideaway

Everything was a “10”, except for the soft bed; we called it our “taco” bed. We loved the covered patio. Also liked the short distance to the historic district of Old Colorado City—a great location. A special thank you to the owner for being available when we had questions…he was awesome!

This was a great place to stay! Everything was fully stocked with everything we needed to stay for 7 nights. The location was PERFECT. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer - that made packing for a family of four much easier.

Pikes peak adventure

The Bijoui Bungalow was perfect in every way. Great location, very comfortable, great host who was very helpful. Everything you could possibly need was there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything if you chose to cook. The patio has a nice grill and sitting area.

Great house in perfect location

After reading other reviews I knew this would be a great place and it was perfect for our visit to Colorado Springs! We were able to get to all the tour-isty things we came to do. The location was super convenient to all the attractions. The house is impeccably clean and well stocked with everything you might need. David was super responsive and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend.

The property is adorable. It had everything we needed, and the owner was easy to communicate with. The entire property is ADA compliant. We had a wonderful stay! The only concern I had was the spider webs in the yard. Otherwise, the property is impeccable!

Great little bungalow!

We loved the location of this place ~ easy access to tons of fun things! The place was well appointed and we loved the back patio and grassy area to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and hang out at the end of the day. We didn’t cook but could have with well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. David was a wonderfully helpful and gracious host! We would stay here again!

The bungalow was as advertised. Location was great. There was the memorial day festival going on as well and the house was in the perfect spot to walk to. Great restaurants nearby, great entertainment nearby as well. Would book this again.

Very pleased with our stay at the Bijou Bungalow

We chose this property because it was handicap accessible. We had Christmas dinner with an aging parent and were more than pleased with the Bijou Bungalow. Love the heated floors in the bathroom. We'll definitely try to stay here again on future trips to Colorado.

Had a great time at the property with myself and my dog. It is the perfect size for a couple, solo traveler, or someone with a child. The kitchen is well stocked and large. A very cute small backyard as well. Being walking distance to old Colorado city was a great perk. Would recommend / stay again - hopefully soon!

Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Trip

Looking for a place to stay in a new city can be a bit overwhelming. A trip to honor my fallen brother was made a little bit easier to deal with because of our stay at this property. From the initial booking, the owner was responsive. He offered many recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area. The location was perfect - a short drive (10-15 min) to many attractions including food, shopping, parks. He kept in contact for the duration of our stay, constantly asking if we were good or needed anything. Our flight in was delayed by a few hours causing us to arrive much later than anticipated. The place was clean and very spacious for what we needed. The owner stayed in constant contact. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great Bungalow

Bungalow was very comfortable and offered everything we need. My wife is handicapped, and everything was set up great for her. A big surprise was a pack and play in the unit, as we were in town to see our new grand niece. Great neighborhood. A few blocks from Colorado Ave in Old Town Colorado Springs with all local restaurants, bars, and shops. Grocery store close. Only thing better than the rental unit was David. Best host ever. Rick

Charming little bungalow in Old Colorado City

My mother-in-law is disabled and unable to access our house, so we chose to rent a VRBO property for my in-laws' Christmas visit. I liked this one initially because of the location and it appeared to be a very nicely decorated little house with full handicap access; we were not disappointed. The shower is a roll-in shower with a bench seat, the doorways are wide, with zero angle access at the front door. My mother-in-law said she'd buy the house if it were for sale, it's that cute. The owner is very attentive and the many little details were perfect. We rented it for Christmas and there were a couple of little items placed there for us that made it festive, including a poinsettia plant. The furniture is very nice and the bungalow has a very Craftsman style vibe with high end finishes, original artwork, and lots of natural light. The patio/backyard is still being upgraded, but it is still comfortable and usable; I can't wait to see it when it is done. We will be renting this house every time my in-laws visit and next time we will rent the larger 2 bedroom home next to it for other family members to stay in. I would recommend this little house to anyone, not just disabled people.
